diverse than before. All the major world’s metropolitan cities have diverse populations and
organisations draw workforce from this diverse population. London is no exception in this
regard and it has a vast majority of diverse population that gives it a cosmopolitan outlook.
Guardian (2015) quoting data from the 2011 Census mentions that London has 40% of the
population classified themselves as an ethnicity other than white, where 12% of the population
stated their religion to be Muslim and where 30% of the population holds a passport other than
British. This emphasis the importance of diversity. In this research, an effort would be made to
examine the Impact of motivational factors on diversities will be discussed in relation to achieve

When people think of diversity, they may think first of background and race, and then
gender; however, diversity is much bigger than that. In Workforce America! Managing Employee
Diversity as a Vital Resource, diversity is defined as “difference or those human qualities that are
different from our own and outside the groups to which we belong, yet present in other people
and groups.” Dimensions of diversity include, but are not limited to: age, background, ancestry,
gender, physical abilities/qualities, race, sexual orientation, educational background, geographic
location, income, marital status, military experience, religious beliefs, parental status, and work
experience (Lowden and Rosener 1991, 18-19).
The concept of employee motivation is to encourage the employees to perform improved in the
work place and at the same time the human resource managers of varied business organizations
are implementing number of motivational strategies for the employees in order to meet with the
organizational goals and objectives of the business (Fargo’s, 2000). There are extensive numbers
of studies conducted on the concept of employee motivation from different researchers from time
to time and in practically all the research studies this has been reflected that the factor of
employee motivation is used as the effective tool by the organizational managers to help improve
the performance of the employees and therefore, to enhance the overall productivity of the
business (Urošević and Milijić, 2012). The process of employee motivation is also known to be
the way to encourage the employees for the purpose to accomplish the objectives and targets of

that motivating the employees is vital for the growth and development of the business and also
essential from the view of long term survival of the organization in the industry. If you show

Data collection
For the purpose of this research, primary data is used as primary data is the data that the
researcher collects itself. It gives flexibility to tailor data according to the needs for the
researcher. It is however, expensive and time consuming to collect primary data. A sample of 60
employees would be taken. These workers are working with Patisserie Valerie for more than 4
years. Survey technique would be utilised to collect data and a questionnaire would be developed
that would be administered to the participants of the survey. Data would be analysed with the
help of simple statistical method in the Result section of the research. And literature case studies
are considered and merits of primary research are debated and advice is given on the use of
existing research data. You may not be fond of statistics, but the likely relevance of a
quantitative method should be considered and similarly, the idea of qualitative analysis and
showing your own research may yield valued data. The possibilities of using quantitative and

scholar can easily select some group of people from entire population. There are major two kinds
of sampling method that is probabilistic sampling and non-probabilistic sampling. In the current
study, researcher have used random sampling method under which 60 employees of Patisseries
Valerie organization have selected as sample size.
