INTRODUCTION
People work in the company in order to make money and satisfy their personal needs.
By having work they used to provide basic and essential facilities to their families such as
clothing, shelter and food. In the context of business unit, productivity and profitability is
highly depend on the extent to which employees are satisfied with This report will outline the
various factors which help in motivating the employees to work in the company. Further this
report will evaluate the different positive and negative factors which the employees
experience in order to do their job.
MAIN BODY
1. Various factors motivates employees to work
There are various factors which used to motivate the employees in order to do work
which area as follows:
Appreciation or recognition for a well job done: By providing the appreciation or
by giving recognition, company used to motivate their employees for their work done. The
company used to recognize and praise the employees in order to increase the productivity of
the company (Börü, 2018). By conducting the small meeting and appreciating the employees
it motivates them to do work in more effective way.
Good wages and salary: The money is basically not the good motivator, as I is only
good when the employee is not able to meet his basic need with his basic salary. By
providing the adequate amount of salary and wages to the employees according to their work
motivates the employees to give more to the company. The employee should pay according
to his work ad position in the company which makes them retain in the company.
Working in positive culture: The culture of the company has the major effect on the
work and productivity of the employees. The organization should have the positive culture
which makes the employees to feel happy and valued in the workplace (Dhamija, Gupta and
Bag, 2019). Improving the company culture is the best thing that the company can do in order
to motivate the employees in the company. By having the equality in the company and not
having any discrimination the employees feel motivated in their specific work. Having the
good surroundings and open spaces in the organization makes the employees to do work in
and effective way.

Being recognised for their hard work: The employees and staff of the company
should be acknowledged and say thank you to the employees verbally. By doing this it makes
the employees to feel valued in the organization and motivates in their work (Asaari, Desa
and Subramaniam, 2019). It is the nature of the human in order to recognise the hard work of
the people and by recognising this it appreciates the staff members to increase productivity in
their work.
Opportunities for learning and development in the workplace: By providing
training and development and increasing the skills of the employees. Increase in the skills of
the employees increases the productivity of company and motivates the employees to do
work faster. The organization must recognise the skills gaps of the employees and used to fill
that gaps which makes the employees to do work in more effective way.
Reward and recognition: There are so many ways in order to reward the employees
in the company. The exceptional work done by the employees deserves the reward and
recognition which used to motivate them in order to more work in future. The man aim of
providing the reward and recognition to the employees is to encourage and motivate them in
order to increase their roles and responsibilities and have positive behaviour towards the
company.
Providing leadership: According to the study it is noticed that, by providing the
leadership role to some of the employees enhances their work as they get motivated by doing
the role of leaders. A good leader has the knowledge in order to inspire and motivate the
other members in the workplace which used to increase the productivity of the company. It is
important for the company to have the leaders in the business which helps in motivating the
other employees in their work.
Work life balance: The organization must provide the good life balance which makes
the employees feel motivated in order to work in that particular workplace. Motivated
employees used to take less leaves and work more for the organization. The organization
should have a good working hour which makes the employees to work for that particular hour
without any stress. Having the motivated employees in the company used to increase the
productivity and make the company to earn beyond they think.
2. Positive and negative factors employee experience in their job roles
A positive employee experience encourages the employees to do work in a good nod
effective manner. This makes them to feel safe in the organization have the job security

in the organization.
Positive factors are as follows:
Getting rewards for work: There are various ways in order to reward the employees
in the company. The additional work done by the employees used to deserves the
reward and recognition which used to motivate them in order to more work (Hitka,
Kozubíková and Potkány, 2018). The man objective of getting the reward and
recognition to the employees is only to encourage and motivate employees which
increase their roles and responsibilities and have positive behaviour for the company.
Psychological safety: The psychological safety is the most important part for the
employees in the organization. This makes the employees to speak up with their
opinions and suggestions and have participation in decision- making. They can speak
without any fear or by any humiliation by the organization.
Work life balance and flexible working environment: By having the flexible
working hours and having the positive environment makes the employees to feel
secure in the organization. Having the balanced schedule makes the employees to do
work in the effective manner and have the less stress in order to do work. This makes
the employees to be more focused towards their work by having good environment
and flexible working hours.
Negative factors employee experience in their job roles
There are several factors or aspects which provides personnel with negative
experience at workplace such as:
Conflict: It is recognized as one of the main factors which place direct impact on
individual’s job role and performance. In business unit, high level of conflicts arises
from miscommunication, lack of empathy etc. Unpleasant or undesirable behaviour
between management and colleague may result into employee dissatisfaction.
Task related hassles: When management provides personnel with unrealistic targets
or work then employees feel more pressure towards work. In addition this, sometimes
due to more work employees face issue in managing time as well.
Further, bureaucratic rules, long working hours and receiving too much orders
regarding work also create pressure among personnel (How positive and negative

due to such negative experience employees are unable to give their best while doing
task.
Lack of good culture: In an organization culture plays a significant role and closely
influences employee’s behaviour. For example, if organization’s culture do not focus
on employee’s growth, welfare and wellbeing then it turns into negative experience
about job. Along with, employees get demotivated when they feel themselves as not
valuable to the organization.
Ineffective leadership: If leaders get biased at workplace then employees feel high
level of demotivation and dissatisfaction. Moreover, at workplace leaders are the one
who provides guidance to personnel regarding their work. Thus, in the case, where
leaders take unfair decision about personnel then it leads negative experience about
job or work.
CONCLUSION
By summing up this report, it has been articulated that employee motivation plays a
significant role in the organizational growth and success. Besides this, it can be inferred that
salary, culture, recognition, growth & development opportunities etc are the main factors
which motivates personnel at workplace. By doing assessment, it has found that motivated
employees are more productive as they make their best efforts while performing business
activities. It can be seen in the report that employee experience pertaining to their job role is
affecting from numerous factors. Thus, at the time of developing policies and strategies HR
should keep in mind factors that impacts employee’s performance in a both positive and
negative manner.
