performance appraisal techniques in order to provide staff members a big picture of their
performance and decide their pays on the basis of same. Every year highly performed employees
get appraised in respect of salary as well as designation; it improves employee motivation and
retain them for long run.

5.1 Conclusion
It has been conclusion from the above given report that performance appraisal is helpful
in increase motivation level of staff members in order to enhance their working performance.
Performance appraisal provides benefits to firm. In part of Literature review studied about the
various techniques of performance appraisal used through Crowne Plaza hotel. The manager of
this hotel appraise performance level of staff members in every 6 months to measure their
performance in an effective or better manner. Survey analysis responses that on the basis of
workers, performance appraisal in beneficial and also more effective. It is a better tools to
motivate employees and make improvement in their existing performance at workplace. If their
performance will be effective then they will work on achieving the set aims and objectives of
company with in specific period of time. Through this productivity and reputation of Crowne
Plaza hotel will be enhanced in an effective or efficient manner.
5.2 Recommendations
IT has been recommended from the above report that manager should include its staff
members in the process of decision making. Under this, various challenges has been determined
and also there is a requirement to manifest. Manager should spend its more time to develop staff
members, determine needs of training. Provide accurate feedback, give coaching to them. It will
be helpful in improve performance of employees on continuous basis. In addition to this, firm
can take feedback from employees on continuous basis to know about their needs, issues which
they face at workplace. For any kind of change, it is a responsibility of manager of Crowne Plaza
hotel to provide training of any changes which happen at workplace.
