There are various reasons of working and everyone has there own reason of working and this can
be the financial and the emotional needs due to which people work. As the main reason which is
considered in the society is money as for fulfilling the basic needs of their own, people work. As

increasing skills and knowledge of the individuals. As people work to sustain there living and they
get the revert in monetary terms and this can be in the form of wages, salary and compensation.

needs and requirements effectively. After money affirmation and social recognition is the another
factor by which people do work. This report is about the motivation in business and various
factors which motivate employees for working. This report also involves the positive and negative
factor in there job roles which gives them experience. This report also involves various strategies
by which employees negative experience can be overcome easily.
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is known as the process of guiding, initiating and maintaining an goal oriented
behavior in the business. As due to motivation employees work hard in there job roles and
this also make easier in gaining profit and attaining goal in an effective manner as this also
benefits the business in gaining organizational objective. As motivation basically involves the
cognitive, biological, social and emotional forces which activates the positive behavior in the

business and in individuals’ life for gaining organizational and individual goals and objective
of the business and by this employees take the action in an appropriate manner. Motivation
also builds better engagement and encouragement in the business and this also motivates the
employees for there better working. Motivation also helps in increasing the standard of living
and happiness in the individual and employee’s life for there better development and growth.
As motivation impacts positively in the business as this activates the positive behavior of the
employees for there better workings and this also provides persistence which help in the

and energy in rig time for the better results of the organizational assets. This also involves

As intrinsic motivation can motivate the employees as this kind of motivation involves the
internal reward system and this can include self motivation and self improvement of the
employees as this can motivate the employee for gaining there aims by using there skills and
knowledge. As motivation is the factor which can make the employees achieve success and this
also increase the skills of the employees which can further help in the business increment.
Extrinsic motivation
As this is known as the external motivation as this can be in the form of external reward system as
this involves in the form of money and recognition. As this kind of motivation can also be
negative sometimes. As this motivation is also dependent on the external factors as this involves
some expectation or fear. This can also be on the desire of the promotions and on the salary raise
which can impact in the business profit for the better level of productivity(Waldron 2019).
Maslow’s Hierarchy theory
As this is an motivation theory which helps the employees in gaining motivation as this is known
as the theory of human motivation and this mainly focuses on the basic needs of the employees as
each individual has the desire of basic needs and requirements of there own as these needs are
distinguished as follows.
Physiological needs
As this is the basic needs which is important for the living and this basically involves the basic
needs and this includes the factors like food, water and breathing as these needs are important for
the living(Denier and Waite 2019).
Safety and security needs
As these are the next basis needs which are important to be fulfilled by the organization to the
employees as this is also considered as the second level of the hierarchy. As this involves the
security needs and this involves the financial and the health needs. This also involves the accident
recovery needs and this also involves the health insurance.
Social needs
These are also the important needs which Is required to be fulfilled and this involves the love,
belongings and the acceptance in the business. This also involves the factors like friendship, social
groups and team belongings. As these needs also gives motivation to the employees to reduce
there stress(Tang 2021).
Esteem needs
As this needs also allows motivation to the employees by giving respect and recognition which
motivates the employees to work more hard and this is also considered as the satisfaction level of

growth of the employees(Chang and Shih 2019). As this involves all the capabilities which involves
various factors and this also builds the potential of employees for gaining an advantage in the

motivated and this is the main reason of the employees getting more productive in the business for
