INTRODUCTION
This research is basically based on making a detailed evaluation of the research for
understanding the overall importance of motivating employees and what are the various ways
that can be used for the purpose of increasing the motivation level of employees (Avbar, 2016).
The present research work is conducted with the aim of understanding the outcomes of high
motivated workforce for a organisation and its effect on achievement of overall objectives of the
organisation. There is discussion with the help of literature review in order to understand the
view points of different writers and visitors with respect to this objective of the present report.
Further it is supported by the recommendations that have been drawn with purpose of suggesting
different ways that can help an organisation in achievement of their respective objectives.
Aims: “The major aim of the present report is to identify various ways that can help organisation
in motivating their employees’ Report on Aldi.
Objectives: The objectives of present research are mentioned below:

Importance of Research
The present research work is conducted with the help of secondary research data that has
been gathered by taking into consideration the views of authors. It is a tool that is helping
organisation in developing an understanding of what is the basic meaning if term motivation and
how it is associated with the organisation (Fiaz, Su, and Saqib, 2017). It is also used for purpose
of developing what are various ways that can help a organisation in motivating their present
workforce. The whole research work is based in these two major objectives that have to be
achieved in the course of time period by the researcher that has been started in the research work.

recommendations and conclusions (QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH: DEFINITION, METHODS,
TYPES AND EXAMPLES QUANTITATIVE, 2020 )
Quantitative techniques: Quantitative data is a measure that is consisting of the numerical
or countable form of data that is numerical values and can be used for purpose of measurement
of the numeric values that are part of every research and are collected in the course of a
particular research by a researcher (Quantitative Methods: Meaning and Characteristics, 2020).
In the present research both qualitative data in form of views of various authors and
writers are considered for purpose of collecting the information.
Primary data: it is a method in which there is use of the original source for purpose of
collecting information. In this decision making and analysis is done on the basis of information
that is collected first handed by the researcher. It is a very effective technique that can be used
for purpose of collection of data based on the collected data.
Advantage: It is the information that is collected by the researcher themselves so it
results into higher level of accuracy and authenticity of the collected data (Avbar, 2016). It is a
more reliable form of data.
Disadvantage: this type of collection of data involves large investment in terms of time
and financial expense that is associated with the collection of data by the researcher (Data
Collection Methods, 2020). So, it might lead to large amount of time that has to be involved in
completion of the research and achievement of laid down objectives. Also, many times
respondent are not willing to convey their response or share it with the researcher so such issues
leads to non achievement of the research objectives in an appropriate manner.

Secondary data: Secondary data is used for purpose of collecting the information from already
existing sources. Such as these sources are helping in making a analysis of the secondary sources
of data that may be in available in the form of magazines, newspapers, journals, publications,
views of authors, books that can help in collection of information.
Advantage: secondary data is usually collected from existing sources such type of data
have already been applied in existing researchers, this makes it very easy for researcher to collect
and gather information from such secondary sources (Methods of data collection, primary and
secondary 2019). On other hand, these data is also very helpful in saving in terms of time and
cost of researcher as there is no requirement to make lot of efforts in collecting such form of
data. The existing sources make it very easy for collecting such type of data based on the related
sources that are available.
Disadvantage: Apart from the above mentioned advantages there are some disadvantages
also that re associated with the secondary form of data such as it is not that authentic and
realisable as this does not consist nay first hand information (Ashraf, 2017) It consists of data
that is already collected and established sources. Many times there are no considerable secondary
sources that can be identified by a researcher for collecting the information.

is associated with the act of stimulating, in spring and inducing employees to perform bets up to
their capabilities. It is a term that is associated with employees being motivated for working up
to their full capabilities and high potential. Motivation is a internal feeling that is associated with
the desire to willingly contribute more towards the overall objectives of the organisation when
employees posses high motivation level then it leads to having a workforce that is making high
contribution for the objectives of the organisation. Motivation is also essential for purpose of
having goal directed behaviour of employees towards their organisation. There are many times
changes that are being made in the overall functioning of an organisation for purpose of handling
such changes such as. With instance to Retail industry like Aldi, the present organisational
change that is shifting of operational functions from physical stores to online stores has created a
requirement for more management methods to increase the effectiveness of the functions

performed by the employees. According to the Rina.H, So, if employees will be motivated then it
will lead to more contribution towards accepting such changes with a minimum amount of
resistance.
When employees are highly motivated then it will also assist employees to work without any
mental pressure that leads to increase in productivity and profitability of the organisation.
Determination of ways and various strategies that can lead to positive impact on employee
motivation
According to the views of Michael t. Lee, 2016, there are certain ways that can be used for
purpose of motivating employees. These are type of strategies that have to be used by
organisation in order to have a highly motivated working staff. There is requirement of certain
actions so that overall workforce can help in smooth functioning of various functions of a
organisation. Such as one strategy could be acknowledgment of employees for the achievements
that they are making in the course of fulfilment of their assigned roles and responsibilities. Such
as there is a need for some monetary and non monetary requirements that can be sued as a
motivation tool for employees. In case of monetary requirements there must be use of more
compensatory benefits, high increments and timely incentives associated with high level of work
performance. According to the views of Jeft Murphy, 2020 non monetary incentives consist of
certain medical benefits, allowances, free insurances etc. all this will be helping employs in
performing their responsibilities to achieve such benefits and also working with the motivation
of high competition to achieve such monetary and non monetary benefits in the course of time
period. Along with this, Flexible working hours allow companies to not only improve
productivity but it also save time, decline cost, employee retention and boost staff members
happiness which is one of the key of organisational success and growth as well .Another method
is writing an attendance policy as it helps in declining the number of absenteeism rate of all the
staff members. It will also motivate employees by creation of a sense of competition among the
employees. So, it is the responsibility of the human resource managers to ensure that employees
who are part of this department are actually working with full responsibility and are contributing
up to their maximum potential for achievement of their laid down objectives in the given time
frame. But many times when there are such strategies adopted a organisation there is possibility
of many issues that are in association with low productivity with new changes being adopted by
organisation such as in present scenario, there has been a shift in the offline presence of

organisation . So, it becomes the responsibility of the management of human resource
department that they have to be working according to the employees requirements and keep them
satisfied & motivated at the same time so that of there are any changes that are being brought by
the management then that has to be managed in such a way that there is minimum resistance
level of employees because of such new prospective changes
Gantt cart: It is a tool that is used for representation of the activities and associated time
with every activity that has to be performed in the research and the time period associated with
completion of every task . In the present research work, there is a time period of seven weeks
that has been identified for achievement of the laid down objectives in the beginning of the

From the above discussed points that employee motivation can be a very effective tool for a
organisation and there are certain recommendation that have been made in respect with above
discussed topics:

There must be use of monetary and non monetary tools by organisation such as ALDI
that can help them in formation of some effective measures for motivating their
employees in the due course of functioning of their business.
Employee motivation can be used as a tool for implementation and bringing out some
effective changes in organisations. For this there is a requirement of motivating
employees by adoption of some timely promotions, incentives, compensations etc.
LIMITATION
While performing the above research work there have been some limitations that have been
observed by the researcher. Such as there was a limitation of time period as the allotted time
framework of seven weeks was not sufficient for the researcher to effectively carry out all the
different stages of the research. Apart from this there were also issues related to which particular
methods will be more appropriate such as primary or secondary method. Every method has
associated merits and demerits with it and it is very important for a researcher to select a
particular method according to viability and laid objectives of the research.

From the above mentioned points it can be said that motivation is a very effective tool that
can be used in a organisation for purpose of effective and timely achievement of some laid down
objectives in a organisation. It is a aspect that actually helps in employees working their assigned
