INTRODUCTION
The present report is concerned with developing the questionnaire about employee
dissatisfaction with their pay structure. Questionnaire will be developing to gather the needed
data and information with proper justification. There will be discussing about the suitability of
questionnaire as data collection method for project (Bouman, Steg and Kiers, 2018).
TASK
Suitability of a questionnaire
For collection of information, there has been primary method of data collect used. Questionnaire
will be developing as data collected method for this current project. The suitability of developing
the questionnaire is that each respondent received identical set of the questions. The
questionnaire is easier to generate the quantitative data and easier to be analyse. Through using
the questionnaire, it is easier to collect the more information from large number of respondents
within short time period in cost effective manner. Outcomes of questionnaire can be easily and
quickly quantified through an investigator (Brace, 2018).
What data need to collect
In this, data will be collecting regarding dissatisfaction of staff members with pay structure
within an organisation. Other than this, there are some issues faced by employees at workplace
such as gender mix, pay scale, age distribution in various roles (Gonzalez-Franco and Peck,
2018).
Justification for the types of questions asked
For collection of information, there will be close ended type of questions asked. This kind of
questions can be answered through choosing from limited number of the options mainly multiple
choice. Close ended questions provide the limited insights but can be analysed in an easy manner
for quantitative data (Krosnick, 2018).
For collection of information, there will be random sampling method using and 40
sample size chosen. The selected respondents are employees of company as they have
understanding about company operations and face many issues at workplace (Nordhoff and et.
al., 2018).
