Well-being is a condition or a situation or a state in which a human being is healthy
happy and comfortable (Ehlers, 2020). Well being at workplace refers to the process which is
related to all aspects of working life searches safety and quality of physical environment feeling
of workers towards their work their working environment the climate at work and many more. It
is essential to provide workplace wellbeing to the Employees as it is a key factor for the long-
term effectiveness of an organization. This essay contains various ways in which the research on
the topic of well being will be beneficial for the professionals and management in an
organization and workplace.

As per the E-book of Hughes, there are several dimensions for a well being of a student
that are physical psychological academic and social. Well being helps to improve the academic
performance of an individual which will later help them to have good skills for career growth. If
a person is not well it effects is learning capacity as the brain stops working when body feels
unwell. Well being does not mean physical illness in the health but also include mental illness
which is created from the pressure and other life issues which are faced by an individual. A
healthy mind is active to grass new things which help an individual to learn in effective manner.
The author helps to know the value of well being to improve the academic performance of
children in their learning stage (Alt and Raichel, 2020). Their learning at that early stage will
help them to build confidence in them which is beneficial for the professionals in the workplace
to guide and direct them towards the organizational objectives.

organization. Management of the workplace has an important role in the mental well being of
workers as they can assess various issues they are facing at workplace due to which the workers
are facing mental problems. For the physical well being of workers management provides
various sick leaves and other assistance which is required to their workers in case of bad physical
health. There are several things which happened in the workplace which cause mental stress to
the workers such as bullying, alcohol, conflict, drug abuse, mental health disorder, stress and
many more which needs to be address by the management in an efficient manner.

of the organization. This research is beneficial in increasing productivity of an organization. This
