INTRODUCTION
The term worker relation means to manage the relationship between employers and
employees of the company. The industrial term is related to the workers should be respectful.
The relation of both of them are up to the activities of the union. The business enterprise should
to take initiative efforts for good and effective industrial relation work as to it provides fair
treatment to all employees and with the help of this the workers committed to their jobs and
tends to more loyal to the organisation. The success of the organisation is largely depends on the
termamong the employee. The worker must feel comfortable with each other. In this report, it
has been addressed to define the relationship between the workers Of hotel 'Hilton'. The manager
of the hotel has taken various efforts to improve the relation between them. In the organisation,
there should be positive relation between employees and employers so there can be uninterrupted
production, high morale, mental revolution, reduce wages etc. the effective relation brings
profitability and productivity to the organisation. The good working style of the business
enterprise depends on the excellent coordination among the worker of the company. To maintain
prosperity there should be good communication between the workers.

1.1 Explanation on the unitary and pluralistic frames of reference.
Unitary- The term unitary reference relates to the person way of this thinking, basic
assumption, attitude, values, morale of the business enterprise. This reference is related to the
success of the organisation for the achievement of the set objective. In the company, even
workers have different role but they share same kind of goal, objective and values of the business
enterprise. The employees and employers should be loyal with their working in the respective
field. They believe in the concept that the workers are performing together for the welfare of the
company. These references carry whole organisation as entire big family (Kim and Rhee, 2017).
It believes in the perception to work together so that objective of the company can be achieved
and growth of the business can be exceeded. The major strength is to enhance the commitment
and loyalty to the organisation this function will lead to the success of the business enterprise.
Pluralistic- The term pluralistic references relate to the organisation which have division
of each department into the sub group. Each group has its own power and authority as well as
responsibility towards the organisation. . The obstacle related to the business enterprise can be
solved with the help of collective bargaining process. This term is very useful in describing the

relation among the employees. The relationship of the worker can be affected thorough various
changes in the business organization enterprise. To bring productivity and profitability in the
organisation there should be positive changes in the business enterprise. They give their
consideration towards the alternative decision-making process (Babalola, 2016). Here, the
conflicts of the organisation could not be ignored but it solves by the active participation of the
shareholders. Its work in the manner of decentralise form of human resource manager and allows
employees to take decision of the enterprise.
1.2 impact of changes on the employee relation in the business enterprise.
In order to maintain the effective trade union, the structure should take initiative effort on
the basis of which function of the organisation can be work smoothly. Any changes to the
company directly affect the working of the commerce Federal. To cope up with this the trade
union should focus on the following activities such as education, training and research etc. there
are the following changes which affects the employee relation are as-
Unions- This function can largely affect the employee relation of the member of hotel
'Hilton”. The change in the trade union largely affect the frame-working of the worker' relation.
It also affects the growth and productivity of the business because employees cannot properly
work in the unsystematic environment. The overall organisation can get affected. The relation
between the business enterprise can be maintain if there is good working of trade union
activities.
Communication- This term refers as change of information from one pace to another.
The flow of communication in the organisation should be effective in order to have smooth
stream of working in the business enterprise. Open connexion can improve the performance of
working, with the help of this they can have every information about the subject matter of the
company. The good relationship between manager and employee can improvise the flow of
communication. Any kind of ineffectiveness in the flow of information leads to bring inefficient
performance of the business enterprise (Smothers and Valadares, 2016).
Company culture- Every establishment is following its own rules, policies and strategy.
Company culture generally defines the behaviours of the employees and employers which
determine the flow of working and how they interact with each other. The current environment is

Wages- Any kind of remuneration which is payable is known as wages. The earning
system in the business enterprise should be equivalent measurement to avoid inefficiency of the
work. The effective wage rate encourages the individual to perform well in the organisation. Low
wage rate with the high burden bring ineffective performance which leads to decrease the
productivity of the business. The workers should get bonus in every 8 month this kind of
facilities motivate the employees to do well. The remuneration to the employer plays the
essential role in terms to create positive environment in the business enterprise. The worker
should get wages on the basis of time. There should be equal treatment to all the employers with
regard to the wage rate system (Caldwell and Caldwell, 2016).
1.4 Description on the role of the main players in the organisation.
In organisation, there are different players like workers, mangers, government and each
of them have different style of working. Each department has its own role. Each employee
performs in the organisation as per the work assigned to them. The role assigned to them will be
effectively performed if they have effective amount authority as well as responsibility in the
business enterprise. This helps in defining the function of the organisation. The employees,
employer and the government plays the main role in relation to smooth flow of working in the
business enterprise. This all are described as followings-

active participation in the business activities company cannot survive for the longer period. To
have the more productivity and profitability in the business enterprise employees and employer
should perform activity in the excellent manner. They should actively participate in the assigned
role. The profit survival of the business largely depends on the activities of the employees and
employers of the organisation. In this context, the hotel group of Hiltons take initiative
participate in the improvement of performance of the workers.
Role of managers- Managers plays the crucial role for improving the frame working of
the employees. They have the power to implement and make changes in the rules and policies of
the business enterprise. Managers decide the role of work to assigned to the worker of the
organisation. They should take active participation in the decision-making process of the
company. They have the power to pass the authority as well as responsibility to the employees

in the organisation. The following steps of the identification of the conflict are as-
Identify the source of conflict- To solve the obstacle in the business enterprise one should have
idea about the cause of the such conflict. The proper information helps in finding the effective

Look beyond the incident- At this condition the conflict cause has already been identified. It

kind of conflict, there is a dispute among staff and management, two employees, staff with
even customer. Involvement of two or more parties is seen.
Structural conflict: when conflict arises in the hotel in the way it is structured is called structural
conflicts. This kind of conflict may arise between line and staff persons, hotel owner and

3. Forcing: This strategy focuses on forcing a solution by the management of the hotel upon

4. Resolve: This is the most direct and difficult way to manage conflict, as this involves
head-on the problem and finding a solution. This procedure includes listening to both the

3.1 Explain the role of negotiation in collective bargaining.
The term negotiation is referred as exchange process. It is the kind of give and take
process. The two parties negotiate with each other. It also known as bargaining process between
the employees and employers of the organisation. The workers tend to follow this kind of
process if there is inequality relates to the fairness of the work. The main object of this process is
to have growth and success of the business enterprise. In case if there is aggregate negotiation
than it's the kind of process mutual consideration between the worker of the company. The group
of hotels 'Hilton” take initiative efforts in relation to have this kind of process in the business
enterprise. It helps the works by noting down the various measure as salaries, work participation
etc (Caldwell and Caldwell, 2016).
In this regard, the hotel “Hilton” is bringing negotiation process to have fairness and equality
among the workers. The role of negotiation is as-

to work hard. Hotel Hilton is supporting participation and involvement of staff members in
decision making. Owner or managers of Hotel Hilton discuss long term objectives with the
employees and request suggestions in order to achieve the ultimate goals. This process builds a
strong relationship between the workers and senior authorities. Cultural differences are totally
declined. Hotel Hilton appoints employees without any discrimination based on caste, race, sex,

some necessary steps to maintain the healthy working environment for staff members which are

employees. Further, manager keeps a record of machineries, noise levels etc. in order to protect
environment, delay in work and wastage resources. Besides, it is necessary for manager to co

of employees and compare that to current pay rate and then raise the standard of employees’ job.
Employee Assistance: Hotel Hilton organises employee assistance program, in which
the organisation assists the drug addicted employees to overcome with their addiction. Besides,
the company do not retrench those workers but in fact the manager measures the recovery time
of the individuals after consulting to rehab and plans to allocate them back.
Special Occasions: HR manager of enterprises keeps a record of employees’ birthdays
and send them greetings of blessing and also organises offices party's in festival seasons to divert
them from their engaged schedule.

In this project report, it has been concluded that this assignment has focused on the
activities relates to moral ethics of the business enterprise. The company need to follow the rules,
procedure and policies of corporate social responsibility so that it can run its activity in effective
and efficient way. To sustain the firm in the market the ethics are required to be followed. There
is also evaluation of ethical issues in business which needs to be considered. In this report, there
is a firm which is in regard with ethical problem.
