Employee relationship is the process of framing healthy and positive relationship
between employee and employer in an organisation. These are develop with the help of
establishment of effective organisational structures which helps in clear reporting relationship.
Furthermore, it helps in forming of relationship which establishes authority and responsibility
between senior and subordinates. It is important for developing effective relationship which
helps in avoiding disputes, conflicts and wastage of resources. Thus, it is essential for employees

Maffei, 2017). In this report employee relations are analysed with its impact on organisational
performance. It includes various challenges faced by employees and given recommendations
which helps in improving employee relationship in an organisation.

There are various challenges which can affect employee relationship leading to
development of conflicts and misunderstandings in a company. There are various internal factors
which affects the performance of employees and impacts employee relations. It leads to
fluctuation with the occurrence of uncertain behaviour and nature of complexity in company
environment. Employee relations are vital for the effectiveness of an organisation which has
various benefits in a company. It faces various problems which leads to ineffective behaviour
and bad performance. These challenges are as following:
Conflict management- Conflict is one of the leading factor which affects the
performance of an employee. It is important to resolve various issues leading from conflicts due
to presence of various different personalities in a company. Thus, conflict management is one of
the critical aspect which affects the overall performance of an employee. Employee relations can
be maintained effectively with the help of effective management of human resource department.
It can help in reducing occurrence of conflicts in a company with strong redress team (Grissom
and Bartanen, 2019). Thus, conflict management is one of the leading issue faced by employees
with the presence of work diversity and people working in teams with different backgrounds.

compensation procedures. It is important to provide adequate wages for the given hours an
employee has performed its job. This leads to development of various issues which can have
