growing industry which will allow an organization to remain competitive. Besides that, the
primary aim is to provide recommendations to shareholders of the selected case study
organisation , Asda, as well as senior management of a particular organization to create

Research Questions

Introduction
The organization considered here is Asda. In international business, most of the organizations are
facing serious challenges during the workflow. Organizations such as Asda is facing issues like
employee retention problems as well as their job satisfaction. The research is about dealing with
these problems and to satisfy the employees so that Asda can continue to forward their
organizational aims and objectives. There are various issues like job security, communication
problems, ethical and cultural problems between the employees, lack of teamwork, bad
relationship with co-workers and so on the impact the organization adversely (Kelley and

Gruneberg (2014) stated that low job satisfaction of the employees of organizations leads to
reduced overall morale, lack of productivity, an increase of high employee turnover rates and so
on. Low job satisfaction also creates high turnover rates with employees. Many industries from
food to clothing suffer from high turnover rates and the inability to retain qualified and skilled
workers. Also, it is up to small business managers and owners to find a method to increase job
satisfaction. A little job satisfaction can also lead to negative attitudes of employees which can
spread throughout the workplace and thereby be influencing others to resign jobs
(Puangyoykeaw and Nishide, 2015). Communication is also an issue which leads to conflict
among many employees and thus results in employee turnover. Therefore, the organization must
train their employees regarding how to maintain a relationship or how to communicate properly
with co-workers without the involvement of personal matters. Job satisfaction is impacted by the
view of an employee about the fairness of the organization wage scale and the current
compensation he or she may be receiving (Sell and Cleal, 2011).

The researcher needs to keep in mind about the interview structure while taking interviews from
the members of Asda. First of all, a sample of the interview, its design and strategy need to be
followed by an interviewer.
Interview Sample: The interview were conducted on a sample of six undergraduate students
from a target population. The others are employees and members of Asda. It has been found that
the students who were on internship program reported about job satisfaction (Sample, 2008).
During internships, they are paid with reasonable amounts. But the members of Asda said that
sometimes they have to work with inflexible time. During rush hours, it becomes a difficult
situation for them to handle a large population of customers.
Interview Strategy: The interview procedure is the preparation of necessary actions which
needs to be done in an interview session. An essential list was made which consists of open-
ended questions so that the researcher can follow the interpretivism approach. The strategy was
to record the interview on a tape recorder, and it has been achieved successfully.
Interview Design and Validity: The researcher has personally loomed to talk about directing
the possibility of the interview. Moreover, the participants asked questions about the time
arrangements and process which were convenient to both the participants and the researcher
(Paulo, Albuquerque and Bull, 2016). The validity of the research was tested by conducting two
interviews with the general employees of Asda before the primary interviews.
