number of employees is leaving the organisation due demotivation among the workforce as the
management is not taking any initiative to influence their employees nor they are considering
their high working employees that are giving their best in attaining the organisational goal
(Cattani and et. al., 2020).

In order to resolve the specific problem, the management is using the X and Y theory of
motivation in which theory X belief that the employees can be motivated by giving the proper
supervision so that they can get their work done in an appropriate manner (Domingo, 2020). On
other hand, theory Y says that employees can be motivated by finding autonomy and the sense of
accomplishment so Sports Direct can solve the problem by applying this theory in order to
motivate their employees.

High employment turnover can be reduce motivating the employees so that they feel
valued with the organization that they can the important resources for an organisation. They must
