Abstract
This research discusses two sections where first section demonstrates the research proposal
while second section is report. This report supports to gain understanding about the impact of
employee turnover on the organization performance. The literature review section presents
different factors that could be caused of employee turnover in the working place like such as
pay level, working atmosphere, the relationship between the top and bottom management. In
this, it also discusses many strategies for decline the employee turnover like compensation
policy, reward, and recognition, encourage gratitude, and flexible atmospheres. As a result,
company will be able to improve their existing situation. This report also discusses research
methodology wherein it considers different methods like research philosophy, research
strategy, data collection method, sampling, and data analysis method. The collected data is
examined by statistical tool in which it considered column chart, bar chart, and pie chart. In
last, it represents conclusion section that supports to understand the whole research in precise
form.

The main aim of this research is to measure the strategies to decline employee turnover from
Amazon and improve their performance. The following objectives will be used by researcher
to accomplish aim of research.

The employee turnover of Amazon is 566,000 that are higher as comparison to the other
organization. It is analysed the employee turnover demonstrates company’s inability to
ensure awareness continuity. The employee turnover could create many issues in the
organization like lower productivity, decreased exiting performance, higher stress level,

lower job satisfaction, unfulfilled daily activity, and higher cost. Hence, it can be said that
organization should focus on the employee turnover rate to enhance their productivity for
long-term. For critical analysis this issue, investigators have collected different opinion and
views of selected participants. It was quite expensive. In the stage second, researcher will
select research topic by considering motivation of this research (Dane and Brummel, 2014).
Afterward, research scholar will design the research aim and objectives to conduct their
research (Fu and Deshpande, 2014). The research topic is ‘to analyze the impact of employee

In contrast to this, Zopiatis et al. (2014) explained that employee turnover generally occurs
by despondency of the workforce from working environment. Being hapless could not be
actual reason of employee turnover. It is also stated that if skill of workforce is matched with
the demand of other organization then they could pay higher to employee as it could also
enhance the employee turnover. Hence, the organization is needed to identify employee who
wants to leave their job because they are not satisfied with their growth (Gast et al. 2014). In
addition, it is also explained that there are different factors that could decline employee
turnover such as stability of firm, compensation level, working situation, industry, job
satisfaction level, and supervision of training (Hameed et al. 2014).

According to Kang et al. (2015), there are many strategies that should be used by Amazon to
decline employee turnover and improve the performance of Amazon like appropriate
compensation, training, and development method. Others strategies are recognize and reward
an employee, and encourage gratitude and generosity. It is also stated that organization
should use performance appraisal method by which they could evaluate the performance of
their employee and provide the appropriate remuneration as per their performance. It will
help the organization to retain employee and improve their performance (Smith, 2015).
Moreover, the company should also imply training and development method for improving
the existing skills of employees as it would enhance interest of employee towards their work.

In this research study, researchers will use pragmatism philosophy due to collecting facts and
figures about research matter. This philosophy is a combination of two philosophies
interpretivism and positivism (Korschun, et al., 2014). Through interpretivism, the researcher

behalf of age, gender, experience, and income (Alagaraja and Shuck, 2015). The researcher
will select 40 employees of Amazon from a different region to conduct the research.

In this research, the researcher has practiced both primary and secondary data collection
method to obtain relatable information about the current research matter. The primary data is
collected by using survey through a questionnaire on 40 employees of Amazon as it could
support to collect appropriate information about research matter. Besides this, the secondary
data is collected by considering different sources like publications, online sites, journal
articles, and books (Gerhart, and Fang, 2014).
