I am submitting here with the report which is entitled to find out capabilities posses by graduate
students which an employer desire. As due to highly competitive market, it is analysed that
companies needs to be more competitive and for that they needs extra skilled workforce and as
per research it is analysed that, commerce young graduates also have strong financial skills, that
helps them to manage the work accordingly. Thus, the main purpose of this report is to determine
what capabilities posses by the students so that they will help the company to lead a business
towards further level of success. Moreover, by studying on this topic will help to analyse
strength, weaknesses posses by me and which skills needs to be improved. This, the report will
investigate the skills, capabilities and attributes which actually employers currently seek in
graduate employees. Such that in this competitive era, every business needs to be more
competitive and it is possible only when company have its best workforce.
Moreover, it is also analysed that it takes time to develop the attributes and they also
develop themselves while completing a three year degree. Therefore, through this, it will be easy
for the employees to gain insight different skills and attributes. As the student posses strong
financial skills, attributes and management skills that helps them to leads a business towards
further level of success. Similarly, employers also desire to have these basic skills among young
commerce graduates so that it will be beneficial for the company.

Moreover, the commerce students also posses strong interpersonal skills, communication skills
and innovative ideas related to finance. For that, the report also provides deep knowledge related
to the skills, attributes and capabilities which a commerce student must posses so that they will
help business to survive in the competition. Every job requires hard skills, and they generally
want experience holders so that they may easily understand the work culture but on the other
side, now employers seek to recruit young commerce graduates because they bring new ideas
into the working area so that it will be more helpful to lead a business into further level of
success. In the same way, employers generally seek some soft and hard skills which helps to
maintain a healthy workplace environment. Both soft and hard skills are considered an essential
attributes which a new young commerce graduate must posses so that it will be beneficial for the
success of a firm and stay top in the competition as well.
INTRODUCTION
After implementing new and advance technologies, employers desire to be hire more
skilled workers that leads a business towards success. In the same way, it is quite essential for
the employers to identify capabilities and attributes which the graduates must posses so that they
will assist the business to attain the aim and objectives. Mostly, the employers seek that
employees should posses hard and soft skills which includes communication, interpersonal skills
and teamwork which is considered common skills that everyone should be posses. Not only this,
they want that graduate also have technical and discipline competences from their degree and
due to having critical thinking abilities they mostly hire young graduate for their vacant seats.
Even many secondary research shows that the employers are generally placing a lower
value on degree grades and it is so because they are involved in extracurricular activities which
are equally lowly regarded which further help to bring new ideas into the working place.
Moreover, employers also show candidate's academic performance and then analyse their
competencies level so that it will help them to take better action whether they are eligible for the
firm or not. In the same way, current report also show light on different skills, attributes and
capabilities which actually employers desire to be in young graduates and after analysing the
same, they recruit as well. Thus, through the report it will be easy to determine what common

skills and abilities are essential for the business which an employers desire among young
graduates.
Discussion
Having good soft and hard skills is considered the first prominent for the employers to
decide own entry criteria for the young graduates and employer also decide to select the
graduates on the basis of soft skills which further includes interpersonal skills and attribute that
actually needed for the success in workplace. This skill is also known as professional skills
which helps to maintain healthy working environment (Sasmitatias and Kuswanto, 2018). On
the other side, the hard skill also includes specific knowledge and abilities which they require to
complete the job and that is why, majority of employers needs the combination of hard and sot
skills that is known as hybrid skills. On the other side, Analytical skills is one of the common
skill that employers look among employees in which they want that employees need to be able to
confront a problem and then take action accordingly.
These analytical skills further includes communication skills both verbal and written. It is
so because a high communication skills is actually in demand and having such skills will assist
the students to communicate peers, managers and customers in better way. These communication
skills is considered the first choice for employers which they want to have in every young
commerce graduate because it presents their views in front of others. Moreover, the verbal skills
also assist to exchange the ideas and information in better way as compared to written
communication because it is well- organized and straightforward (Sukmaningthias and Hadi,
2016). Thus, it reflects that communication skill among analytical skill is considered an
important skill which employers seek among employees.
The leadership skills are another soft skills which is help to maintain worker at
workplace. This skill is more effective for future best employer. This creates various positive
impact on their effective resume and future growth. Now a day's most of the companies want that
employees who can supervise and direct other workers in effective manner by solving their all
problem either that are easy or critical (Herman and et.al., 2016). Company manager are look
their employees can be cultivated relationship up and down and across the organizational chain
who have proper and effective knowledge about motivate, encourages and discipline workers in
effective manner. This is effective and best skill is help to create the desired culture at workplace
in effective manner.

On the other side, teamwork is also important skills for employees because with
collaboration and strong relation between employees are created a positive working environment
at the workplace. Most of the companies are looking for those people who properly engaged
within the team by understanding their views of work. This skill is help to grow their future
because of higher contribution in teamwork. Teamwork helps to get success in particular task
and project. Most of the people are preferred to work alone, but it is important to demonstrate
understanding values of joining forces and working in the partnership with others by
accomplishing company goals (de Araújo and et.al., 2019). This is effective skills for future
growth factors.
In contradict, problem solving skill is also important and essential for the growth of
employees in the prefect future. This creates various thinks to develop their skills more and in
effective manner. Many of the people shirk from the problems because they do not understand
companies employees to solve problems. Companies are highly looks for hiring those employees
who are capable to solve little problems at workplace in the absences of them. The ability to use
their knowledge and information to find the answer of pressing problems and formulate
workable solutions will demonstrate can handle problem. This is more effective skills which is
help to promote their employability skills (Palwankar and Klaus, 2019). Employability skills are
more important and effective for the business growth as well as becoming best employees at
workplace. This skill is actually needed at workplace in more effective way.
Employability skills are also includes work ethics at workplace. The manager and
companies not like spend time form managing little thinks of employees. They expect that their
employees are more responsible for manage their work as own without passing and wasting time
on those bit problems because they are getting paid for their work and its outcomes. That can be
give negative impact on employees and their work performance. This skill may includes various
thinks is like arrive to work, meeting deadline, work deadline, project management and making
sure about their errors and eradicate that from work (González-Garza Sánchez-Teyer and Zapata-
Pérez, 2016). As well as, going the extra mile shows that employees are committed to
performing their work with excellence in proper manner. This skill is most important and really
need to having in people for best and prefect future of own and company. The workplace have
really needed to have work ethics in their work.

in the hard skill because in the today world all work is done on the computer system with
specific work area. Present days companies are looking compute skills in employees for greater
work. This skill is includes ability to learn and operate various technology for work. Related
computer skills are really and actually needed at workplace are typing, fluency in coding
languages, system administration, email management and spreadsheet.
Those skills and knowledge is help to make effectiveness of peoples in effective manner.
This help to future growth and workplace ability to perform proper management. On the other
side, customers services skills are then trait and proper practice which had help to becoming
successful employee by addressing customers needs to create a positive experience at workplace.
This creates more effective thinks in order to make effective and positive work customers
experience with company. The financial skill is also important and effective for the business and
this has actually needs for great future (Wagner, O'Connor and Hasenau, 2016). For becoming
the good accountant employees have to learn various financial skills like calculation, excel
management and budget making and so on.

From the above study it had been concluded that, the current graduate capabilities and
skills for great success in effective manner. Those had been help to maintain image at workplace
by performing task in respect with both skills hard and soft skills. The hard skills included
financial skills, customers services skills and computer skills. On the other side, soft skill had
included communication skills, work ethics, leadership, teamwork and collaboration,

workplace for successful employees needs in effective manner by using skills for more growth.
Recommendations
The hard and soft skills are more important and effective for employee to manage their
work in the future. This creates great aspects for business and becoming successful employee in
the future in better manner. For that here I recommanded some ways to improve those skills. In
order to improve communication skills, should do the continuous practice and observes their
senior how they are communicated with others in effective manner. This is the effective and best
creation for success in the future. For improving computer skill, should join their better computer
class and learn different software as well as emotional intelligence in proper manner. Through
that employees are ready to pay their effective attention for the work. On the other side, for
improving problem solving skills should try to solve problems which will be happing at
workplace in the future because that helped to becoming more successful employee in their
future in effective manner.
