It is important to find an employer who is considerate and empathetic towards employee
concerns. Woolworths appeared to be such a company who offered me adequate help in order
fulfill my tasks and maintain a healthy life. Managing studying and working together seemed
very challenging initially; however I am planning to handle it. As I only have two days class on
Monday and Wednesday, it will not be possible to do the cleaning job on Sunday or Tuesday
night. The others day of the week I can work in night shifts. I have talked to my manager about
my classes and other everyday work. His offered me to choose my work schedule according to
my convenience. I will talk to my fellow staff members and ask for their assistance and support
whenever I will need. I can also take help from Woolworths employees credit union. As I have
already worked in Woolworths I know they are helpful and one can approach to other at the time
of need. I am planning to utilize most of the time working so that the studying on Mondays and
Wednesday could be balanced. Rest of days I will work overtime. On those two days, as I am
not working, I will be completing all my weekly chores and household responsibilities so that on
the other days I will not have to worry. As the authority has given me ample opportunities I will
have to utilize them effectively without misusing any of it. I am sure whatever I have planned so
far, will be implemented properly, managing 100 hours will not be a difficult task.
