Introduction
The conflict between management and workers can be alleviated to a new level as
such as the employment contract. As stated by Davidson and Griffin (2000) it is necessary to
understand the good design, practise as well as the good inclusive communication that may
have an adverse effect on the employment contract. Hence, it is important that development
of a new employment contract be undertaken so that previous agreements can be countered as
well as parties involved in the development and negotiation of the contract.
The assignment focuses on the corporate social responsibility that is required to be
developed by addressing the new era related to job equity. The focus of the assignment is on
the negotiation process, corporate social responsibility as well as the new employment
contract that exists in Advance Energy. Advanced Energy was formed in 1995 as a
monopolistic supplier of electricity in New South Wales (Advance Energy, 1999).
Parties involved in the negotiation process
The parties that are to be involved in the negotiation process need to be the employees
and the employers. Along with this, the Government and Trade Unions also need to be
involved in the negotiation process. This is mainly because the relationship between an
employee and a manager forms the basis of contract negotiation related to employment.
According to Crowther and Seifi (2018), potential strategies that are related to the job as well
as the fair employment can be taken into consideration while undergoing the negotiation
process.
At the same time, it is essential for trade unions and Government to intervene as third
parties so that an unbiased decision can be provided and ensure that the employment contract
be legally binding. This can help in the development of proper relationship with each of the

parties. As stated by Unit (2015) the manner in which the contract can be made is by
considering the options of both the employees as well as the managers. Thus, based on these
the new employment contract for the company can be made.
Comparison of new employment contract with previous agreements
The comparison of new employment contract can be made with the previous
agreements. The recent employment contract of Advance Energy states that the company
attempts to provide employment to the Aboriginals in a similar manner (Advance Energy,
1999). The development of the company need to be such that none of the ethical
considerations that is to be taken into account. At the same time, the current rate of
employment of the company is stated as 3.65% (Advance Energy, 1999).
The fact that the company have developed and implemented new forms of
technologies, require effective work force planning and training. The work roles also changes
and it provides flexibility among the staff members to display their talents and ensure the
growth of the company (Advance Energy, 1999). At the same time, Advance Energy provides
a wide range of tasks to the employee so that they can remain engaged and can help in its
flexibility (Advance Energy, 1999). Along with this, the company managed to develop an
ongoing contract related to employment by elevating the part time employees to full time
employees.
Casual or contract employment is not provided for the growth of the company. The
employees working at Advance Energy need to work overtime so that it meets the objectives
of the organisation (Advance Energy, 1999). The employee probation period can be of three
months and the termination can be if the employees fail to meet the expectations. The new
requirements implemented in the contract consists of providing the employees with an
opportunity to remain creative as well as ensure that employment opportunities be improved

for the development of the company as well as the community. Advance Energy also
provides a week for finding suitable jobs for terminating the employees (Advance Energy,
1999). Thus, the new policy ensures stable growth of the company as well as more
employment facilities.
Corporate social responsibility of Advance Energy in addressing the new era of job
equity within its community
The corporate social responsibility that is needed to be undertaken by Advance
Energy comprises of providing proper employment opportunities to the people so that they
continue with the development as well as the wellbeing of the society (Advance Energy,
1999). An improvement in the status of the people of the Aboriginal race can be considered
as a manner based on which strategies and operational processes are developed and the
corporate culture can be made in line with the accountability of the issues of the company
(Advance Energy, 1999). At the same time, Advance Energy can understand the
empowerment that is to be provided to the employees (Advance Energy, 1999). Along with
this, it is necessary to consider the contributions made by the citizens for the development of
an organisation. As stated by Crane, Matten and Spence (2019) the women people
working at the company need to be protected in the society by providing them with equal
opportunities for employment and for encouraging the participation of the women in the
community. Therefore, it can be said that the corporate social responsibility of Advance
Energy is an important part of its development in the community (Advance Energy, 1999).
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded that for a negotiation to take place the presence of both
the parties are required. The employee and the employers make deals with one another about
the development of a proper contract and for ensuring that the negotiation can be continued in

a proper manner without having any form of discrepancies in the business. At the same time,
it can be said that for the development of the competency in an organisation it is necessary to
formulate new employment contract theories, which can help in the development of its
employees.
For Advance Energy, the company aims to develop an ethical approach that can help
in the development and growth of the objectives of Advance Energy. It is also seen that
Advance Energy contributes for the development of the society by providing high level of
employment as well as by looking after the wellbeing of the women population in the society.
