Empowering can be simply referred as giving power to some one so that active
involvement of that person can be occurred in selecting its own decision. In sector of health and
social caring, numerous of service providers are in force to abide by civilians necessity to have a
concentration over governmental norms and rules (Wyder and et. al., 2015). Since there is
adequate engagement of a wider number of service suppliers in industry of health – care;
therefore, the consumers are getting more obsessed and are focusing on the overall charges as
well as quality, and afterwards assurance of services. Hence more than one entrances in field of
HSC are allowing the operational clients with more powerfulness. The current report is going to
be formulated by considering various given case studies. In this project key legislations have
been discussed that give impact on activities of rehabilitation centres.

accident which left him a physical disability and hearing damage. By which his parents
can not do any activity without assistance of others (Westwood and et. al., 2015).
Mental loss- The mental condition of Mr Taz is not good because he is not answering
about their accident to the police and face various issues regarding health.
Emotional loss- The loss of independence may create fear of loosing something,
graininess, disappointment for Mr Taz.
Social loss- Also Mr Taz is loss contact with the society people and he can not share their
views and ideas. Also he can not even talk to any one.
The factors which contributes to non participation- The factors which directly bring in
the non participation for Mr Taz within the personalized impotency (Snape and et. al., 2014). It is
the main reason of the non participation so he is depend on others for their regular activities and

was admitted in hospital due to overdose or misuse of drugs. Now, he wishes to prepare his
favourite food named as rice and peas along with jerk chicken. Besides this, Mr. Harry has a bad
history of hitting citizens in market who used to stare at him. Therefore, it is important to
manage its tension so that he get able to cook that food easily and safely. For doing the same,
following ways can be adopted :
A care worker should be appointed who should provide the responsibility of looking after
even a single move of Mr. Harry so that no danger get rises for him (Roski and et. al.,
2014).
As he is going to supermarket alone and there is possibility of harms to others as he may
hit any of the person who start staring at him. Thus, for handing this, there is requirement
of some skilled professionals who can take care of such things and try to engage Mr.
Harry in other activities like buying ingredients for the making meal in order to avoid
