advertising claims are limited, as energy drinks have proven to be beneficial for physical
health, but have other health consequences.
2.4 Usefulness to Consumers
Researches have concluded that energy drinks can successfully provide a quick
physical boost and adrenaline rush (Cadoná et al. 2019). However, daily or frequent use of
energy drinks can have deteriorating health effects. These drinks have high-calorie content
and should not be consumed too frequently.
3. Conclusion
It can be concluded that energy drinks are a good source of quick energy but can
never replace as food energy and nutrient source. The intake of such drinks should be limited
and never be consumed frequently.
