EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report is summarized as there are various sources of energy and use of technical
development. Apart from this there are various opportunities and barriers regarding use of
technology.

INTRODUCTION
As everyone knows that the world pertain the several types of energies. Solar energy
refers to power created from heat and light of the sun. Few examples of technologies such as
solar thermal, solar architecture are used to make use of sunlight. There are various advantages
associated with this. The report pertain the investigation of the current state of technology and its
application in country or region. It is a major source of electricity production. Solar thermal
energy can be generated through air and water panels as well. Water heating system cut down the
need for boiler; it is connected to internal water system of home. It helps to accomplish the need
for hot water during. Air heating system installed in buildings store heat by absorbing it. During
extreme winters these helps to bring room temperature into normal. Reducing the house bill is
also one its asset. Installation of battery wind power machines are part of technical innovations in
this area.
Solar thermal power is developing in UK with every passage of time. Consumption of energy
from this source rose from nothing to one fifth of electricity. Various developments are being in
the manufacturing these equipment’s. Reduction in prices has led to increase in it's sales from
past few years. As people are becoming more conscious of green effects on the environment
popularity of such technology is increasing. Various other devises are under development for
future purpose. They will be constructed in such way that they can filter the sunrays and
differentiate heat and electricity in two different parts.
Current state of the technology
Current state of this technology in UK- Government of UK announced millions of panels
to install in the houses. More and more initiatives are taken to increase the awareness about such
sources. Sun has abundance of energy, which needs to be utilized in an effective manner. This
has led to increase in production of solar panels. Using these panels are both cost effective and
time consuming. Ikea is one of the retailer who is selling solar panels in Britain. Besides this, the
word fusion refers to the The word fusion means "a merging of separate elements into a unified
whole". Nuclear fusion refers to the "union of atomic nuclei to form heavier nuclei resulting in
the release of enormous amounts of energy. Fusion takes place when two low-mass isotopes,
typically isotopes of hydrogen, unite under conditions of extreme pressure (Bhandari and New,
2012).

Impact Solar thermal for buildings
Utilization of these sources of causes a severe impact on the on other fuels such as petrol.
Petroleum is pretty much the reason of every running machinery on this earth. But due to its
limited availability innovation of solar energy is a biggest advantage. Fossil fuels cause
pollution, which are creating bad effects on the environment and human health. These are the
reasons causing people to to install solar panels in their houses.
Technology development
Technology is developing very frequently and it has lots of advantages and benefits.
Technical development can be seen in energy such as: now days persons are using solar power
system which is used to generate electricity. Due to technical development, Nuclear fission is
also using by the people and it a source of energy. Wave power is using to generate energy and
now most of persons are using oil but in future most of persons can use natural gas in its vehicle
so that consumption of crude oil can be reduce. Now a days most of individuals are using
electricity in their house but in future it can be possible that persons will use solar power system
to generate electricity (Höök and Tang, 2013).
Barriers and opportunities
Barriers of solar thermal energy can act as roadblock in it's success. Negative Perception of
people will stop them from using such technology. They are often unsure about the it's quality,
usage, benefits which it will provide and other safety issues about which they are concerned.
Management Barriers are related to how to strategies market into differentially. Various
divisions of public as rural and urban based on their income. Lack of poor infrastructure, poor
marketing strategy.
Economical cost are related to high installation cost, maintenance and repair costs. There are
conflicts attached to initial funding stage. Ineffective planning and too much of rules and
regulations can become huge drawback. It Also private stakeholder should work together for
better understanding and running (Otanicar and Phelan, 2012).
Personal views on Technology:
According to me this technology is a greatest gift to humanity. Petrol has become necessity
for our survival. Extinction of this natural resource can halt several of our activity. We cannot
function without it. From running a vehicle to carrying a rocket to space, petrol is important. As

we aware about it's disadvantages, protecting earth is our responsibility. Therefore, every
household and organisation should use solar thermal power. Their availability is unlimited and
they are eco-friendly.
CONCLUSION
In the conclusion it can be said that technology is developing so promptly and making
people lives better. This technology is making direct impact on the energy systems and other
fuels. As there is various kinds of opportunities and barriers which is arises due to use of
technology. The opportunities are like now one can generate electricity at lowest possible cost
and barriers like laws and legislation related to use of it.
