Who are the stakeholders of your project? Briefly discuss their requirements and
engagement.
Stakeholders are those people who connected in a project with a particular interest. These are the
members of a project group, executives, sponsors, leaders, customers, and consumers. According
to the Project management institute (PMI) project, stakeholders are specific people and teams,
which may influence and can be affected by decisions, practices, activities, or outcomes of a
project.
All external components exist in the border of the organisation that can affect all segments of the
organisation (Riahi, 2017).
Examples of the project stakeholders are given below:
In internal stakeholder’s owners, sponsors, project manager, employees, stakeholders,
and project team plays an important role.
In external stakeholders; Suppliers, partners, creditors, clients, media, union, competitors,
professional groups, and government agencies are included in it.
Project Stakeholders needs, requirements, and engagement:
Quality requirements: This needs help to the stakeholders to verify the project which has
produced deliverables that gather business,
Project requirements: This need is essential because it helps to design documentation and
quality metrics,
Business requirements: This needs help to describe the core business problems and gain
opportunities.
Stakeholder’s requirements: These needs are added to the business requirements, when business
needs are high level these are elaborate needs from users, transition requirements and solution
requirements are the needs of project stakeholders.
