Engineering industries in Australia includes all the companies that provide wide range
of services to the construction, mining, agriculture, renewable energy, marine and tourism
sectors of the country (Small, Poulos & Bhuiyan, 2018). The engineering industries of
Australia is seeking a tremendous boom in providing services to transport,
telecommunications and energy sectors. Sydney is going to progress nearly $50 billion of
transport projects. The industries has shown its growth in the year 2017 and 2018.
Careers in the Industry
Engineers who have competent skills with creative and strong analysis power have a
greater career opportunities in the engineering industries of Australia. It will help the
computer engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers and electronics engineers to build
a new opportunities in the career growth. For mechanical engineers, the candidates can work
in Bayer which is the best MNC’s having multiple business sectors like pharmaceuticals and
consumer health. The candidates can share their passion in this company (Staff Engineer,
2019). The engineers are placed in the research and development centers to design new
products and improve the existing products. They can also enhance their knowledge of 3D
modelling in this company during designing process. Arup is another MNC company that
focuses on various consulting, infrastructure and building design services. This company will
be beneficial for the engineers. They will be able to design various innovative projects and
engage themselves in a collaborative team environment. They can get a chance to learn a new
software designing tools called Revit for quality design making.

Job Role- The graduate engineer position will be directing a wide range of
infrastructure planning & will be responsible for designing a various projects (SEEK. 2020).
They will be developing relating work and undertaking by the designing team.
Skills required:
 The candidates will be possessing Bachelor degree in civil engineering
 The candidates must be having a current vehicle driving licence.
2. Junior Engineer in PWR- PWR is an Australian owned company, which is a global
market leader in designing and manufacturing services. The company provides an
automotive cooling solutions in the global market. The business is continuously
growing in the OE business activities.
Job description- Junior Engineer will be responsible in the company’s research and
development department. They will be working with the production team members and will
be participating in wind tunnel test facility, CNC machine shop, fabrication facilities and
simulation studios.

speculations, co-ordination of the materials and support to planning, use of resources and
solving the problems for project success (Muller, 2019).

 The candidate must be qualified and done its degree from a relevant universities.
 The candidate must have its own transport driving license.
 He/ she must have computerised skill of Ms Excel, Ms Word and project.
Career Clarity
As a graduate, I am focusing on developing my career in food manufacturing sectors.
I am interested in work that is related to technical operations related to the industry. I want to
work as a chemical specialist in the industry. This will helps me to learn more on quality
control process of the industry. I am also interested to make new developments and new
innovations to improve the quality of food. The research and development departments of
engineering industries will help in developing new product and build more experience and
opportunity to get experience. For this, I will have my clear view on developing my skills as

a chemical specialist and focusing on developing my analytical skills. I gain my motivation
power by every day watching the social blogs related to career developments. I am building
my communication skills by weekly practicing the acts and daily reading the newspapers &
magazines. I am searching my full time job in the engineering industry, because these sectors
will provide a good package, compensation benefits and will also help in my career growth
by enhancing new skills. Engineering industries is focused on maintaining its competitive
market by continuously developing the product. Therefore, they train creative ideas in order
to boost the production process of the business. Hence, in this way it will help me to
brainstorm and enhance new skills. The projects in engineering industries will help me in
developing my analytical power and help to identify my weaknesses. In this way I can work
for my strength and grow in career.
