This document presents a project report on the design of a 3-phase power transmission line. The project involves evaluating six different designs based on the calculation of magnetic fields at specified test points (TP1 and TP2). The report details the vector calculations for each design, including the determination of the magnetic field components (Ha1, Hb1, Hc1, Ha2, Hb2, Hc2) at each test point. The calculations utilize formulas for magnetic field strength and unit vectors, considering the current flowing in each conductor. The report includes the calculation of H RMS values for each design at both TP1 and TP2, leading to the selection of the design with the lowest H RMS as the preferred configuration. The report also calculates the peak magnetic field (H PEAK) for the selected design. The report concludes with a python script used for calculations.
