aims of career. There are few individuals which follow a additive career way in the one field.
This report is going to discuss and identify about the area of graduate employment(Akhtari and
Griess, 2020). This context consider engineering career in order to identify the trends which are
changing the future of companies and what are the skills and knowledge required for this change.
Also, the impacts of general trends which will going to create impact on the engineering factor or
career.
TASK 1
Engineering career are mainly responsible for managing, constructing, designing several
construction projects. They help and support the company to develop new goods and services by
analysing and recording the performance and resources for testing. As in the any organisation
engineer plays an important role during the development, maintenance, and process the goods
and services. The education required for engineering is at least bachelor degree in this field. The
skills which are required in effective engineer is communication skills, maths skills, creativity,
problem solving skills, team work, technical skills, project management and many more. In order
to carry out the project about industry knowledge, workshops, seminars and personal
interactions are involved to gain specific information about the industry.
There are several trends which are modify the future of engineering industry and
which are mentioned below:
Social Media: Trends like live videos, AI- powered chatbots are modify the future of
social media marketing. The social media give their positive contribution towards the growth and
development of the company. It helps the engineering industry to involve in with meaningful
interactions. It helps them to achieve much growth and connect with more innovations and
creativity.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): Artificial intelligence plays an important role towards the
engineering career. The engineering and construction industry or the company adopted several
digital techniques which involve mobile devices, virtual reality, drones, advance building.
Influence of Influencers: Influencers marketing is the procedure which helps the

and knowledge about operations systems.
Teamwork: There are several skills which required for effective team work and also for
adopting and facing the challenges and changes for the academic and professional success. For
operating effectively in the team work, an candidates required critical thinking, time
management, leadership quality, good communication skills, leadership.

Leadership: For adopting the changes and influence the staff and their employees to
work with them properly so that they can develop and build effective team work in order to
accomplish the goals and to get effective and positive outcomes for the company. There are few
skills of leadership which is required by engineer leaders to co pup with team. The skills is which
is needed that is flexibility, strategic thinking skills, active listening, creativity, motivation,
ability to inspire and convince others.
Multitasking: Multitasking skills are also much required for the leaders in order to attend
several task and project at the same time. For adopting the trends in order to develop themselves
and the industry, they required effective individuals who can manage several task and
responsibilities at the same time.
Product knowledge: Its is required by the leader or managers to have specific
knowledge about the goods and services which is required by the consumers. A proper and good
knowledge about the product helps the company or industry to create and make wide consumer
base towards the company so that they build and develop themselves in the market(Shechtman,
2020). According to me a proper knowledge about the product and services help the company to
deals with market changes and also help them to resolve the queries of the individuals so that
they can get positive feedback from the consumers.
These are important skills and knowledge which is required by the industry In order to
deal with the changes that is occur due to market trends and requirements of the consumer. For
operating and performing effectively in the market it is much required for them to hire and
trained their staff on the basis of the requirements( Witlox, 2019). These skills helps the
company to minimise the risk factor and increase the profitability in the company.
