Problem or Issue
The problem that is largely present in US is the proper availability and the affordability
of healthcare systems. This indeed is one of the major problems because healthcare system is one
of the most important needs of the people. It is the duty of the Nation to make sure that they are
able to provide proper health care facilities to all the people irrespective of their income or any
other social status. There is also this problem because the income of the people is not sufficient.
Apart from this, they do not get proper facilities from the doctors whenever they are seeking for
the medical assistance.
The U.S. has the most dysfunctional healthcare system in the industrial world,
has about twice the per capita costs, and some of the worst outcomes. It's also the

Most of the doctors and the hospitals are moving away from the poor and remote towns
and cities where most of the sick population lives. There is also mismanagement of the total
amount of funds that are allocated for the medical system of the nation (Nishimura, Rick et al.
1158). About 30 cents of the total amount of money allocated for the medical facilities are
wasted. Many of the Americans are unable to pay the bills of hospitals and are also often under
the risk of getting bankrupt for being underinsured or uninsured. The Americans are often being
charged huge expenses for getting even the least amount of medical facilities. Even for availing a
bag of normal amount of saline, one has to pay about $750 billion, which indeed is a huge
amount of money.
The goal of real healthcare reform must be high-quality, universal coverage in a cost-

There is also a very little or no such relationship between the doctors the hospitals and the

patients. Whenever someone is injured they have no other places to go except for the hospitals or
the clinics. So, the patients have to pay the exact amount that is charged on them by the hospital
authorities. They do not really get to see any proper calculations or the breakup of the exact
amount of charges that have been included in the overall medical bill. The drug companies often
charge a very heavy amount from the patients (Miller, Benjamin et al.55) It has been seen that
the drug companies use a major portion of these charges for the purpose of advertising. It is
because of all these problems that the common people have to suffer so much. However this
must not be the case. Poor people must get the utmost facility and must be able to access the
medical services at the reasonable affordable price. There are also many doctors in the US who
are incompetent but are still carrying on their medical practice (Burwell, Sylvia 898).
Solution
The first step that is to be taken is to extensively carry out an investigation and ban those
doctors who are incompetent and are carrying on malpractice in the name of giving medical
assistance to the people. This information must be taken from the authorized hospitals and must
be made public (Cleverley, William 25603). Using the internet and other forms of social media
can turn out to become the most helpful thing for this purpose. The other way to cut down the
medical expenses is to increase the number of doctors in the country. This is again not possible if
the number of debts that the would be doctors has to pay in their medical colleges is also
lowered. There must be the introduction fellowship schemes or other scholarship schemes
(Khatib, Rasha et al 63) Apart from this, there has to be a strict check on the drug companies.
The p of the medicines and the drugs must be set at reasonable and affordable amounts so that
they can be available to all. The medical college must be updating the names of their medical

company or associations on the local websites so that they are made available promptly to the
common public.

The medical schools must be aware that the teachers are not promoting or advertising the
medicines of any company inside their classes. The health insurances must also be available to
all the people at proper rates of interest (Banegas, Matthew et al 55) Apart from this, the nation
also has to restrict the size of the families so that the amount f birth rats taking place outside the
wedlocks are reduced. There must be health campaigns that will educate and train the
Americans for using healthy lifestyles methods (Jackson, Eric et al.1255)
Benefits of the solution
These measures will help in improving the condition of the medical system. All the
people of the country will be able to get timely and proper health benefits. Peole ust wprk on
this solution so that The medical colleges will also be able to function properly and educate the
patients in an honest and organized manner. The doctors will also be prevented from carrying on
the malpractices. Apart from this there will equality in the medical education field as well. The
medical students will not have to pay abnormally higher amounts of debts. Leading disciplined
lives will also help in reducing the poor and dangerous health conditions like unwanted sexual
diseases and unwanted births as well. However the medical colleges might initially say that it is
not possible for them to reduce the expenses for the students as they have to bear a huge amount
of expenses. However this has to be done by all means so that the corruption in the medical
fields can be removed.

Conclusion
So, it can be concluded that if these solutions are implemented then the citizens of US
will be able to have a good and healthy lifestyle. Moreover, they will also be able to avail the
best medical facilities at the right time. They will no longer have to worry about paying huge
amount price for getting the medical and health facilities at the times of their need. The medical
students will also be able to get their degrees at affordable amounts without worrying about the
high debts.
