Being a student, I have analysed that I have effective communication skills that help me in
interacting with people, friends, family members, teachers etc. In addition to this, I have also
effective leadership skills that help me in leading and directly large numbers of people. I have
effective time management skills, through which I can easily handle large number of tasks and
works in a single time (Samanci, 2010).
What went well? (approx. 50 words)
Being a student of University of England, I have found that I have effective communication skills
and learning skills. However, I required improving my technological skill and knowledge
regarding my subject of management. I also needed to improve my presentation skills and research
skills that will help me in improving my personality and professionalism (Lynch and Simpson,
2010).
What areas do I still need to improve? (approx. 50 words):
For improving poor technical skills, I will attend Training and Development Programs that will
help me in learning the methods and criterion to operate computer and other equipments. In
addition to this, I will also attend technical workshop and seminar to improve my knowledge about
it. For improving my knowledge and skills regarding management subject, I will do self-practices
and self-assessment. By self-practices and conducting group discussion, I can improve presentation
skills. (Denham and Brown,2010 ).

The UK education system must look after proper
handling of various students that arrives in
universities for learning. The training framework in
UK needs to take care of the best possible
treatment of various kinds of students that land to
colleges for learning. The significant gatherings
that make the understudy base are the school leaver
students who move into college for instructive
purposes (Shapiro, 2011). Then again, mature
students are researchers from 21 years or above,
who left examinations because of certain reasons
like family issues, money related emergency and so
on.
The best possible administration of these
gatherings of students is a noteworthy test that is
required to be overseen by instructive arrangement
of UK. On the essential level, administration of
mature students is much troublesome when
contrasted with that of school leavers. Accordingly,
the instruction framework needs to take care of
appropriate allot to convey tasks and exercises that
helps with expanding the nature of instructive
measures are taken for them. Appropriate morals
and arrangement measures are embraced that will
bolster in a viable improvement of learning
conditions for developing students and school
leavers. On the fundamental level, the school
leavers (Individuals between age 18-21) frame the

Following are some major challenges that is faced
by mature students and school learners in higher
educational system-
 Different environment and culture is one of
the major challenges that faced by students
and school leaners because they require
some time to settle in new atmosphere and

 Another major challenge is related to higher
education and level of studies as compared
to school level. The level of education is
higher as compared to school level due to
which student has to put more efforts to
improve their knowledge and performance.
 One of the major challenges related to cost
and expenditure in UK that faced by
students in higher education. Due to rising
student expectation and intense
competition, financial burden has enhanced
student studies (Brooks and Abrahams,
2018).
 Student has another challenge related to
follow different ethics, policies and
practices that is required to be placed and
managed in collage and institutes that helps
to carry out learning process in appropriate
manner (Diamond and Lee, 2011).
As per the above discussion, it has been analysed
that there are various kinds of challenges faced by
the student in order to get higher education in
London. However, they possess certain
opportunities that led to effective growth of
learning for students and school leaners in
England. These opportunities are discussed below-
 New Environment and culture helps student
to improve their knowledge, skills and
performance. With the help of advanced
system and education process, students
have more opportunities to learn excellent
knowledge, skills, ability. This will help
them to improve personality and
professionalism of students.
 Higher education in England helps students
in sorting out their education and learning
related issues and problems. In addition to
this, in UK, there are large numbers of
employment opportunities for student so
they can easily get placement by their

 Higher education system in England uses
advanced and high quality of technology
and equipment that helps to students in
improving their procedure of learning. This
makes learning process fast and easy for

. What impact might the situation you have discussed in question 1 above have for you as
a student in higher education?
Being a student in the England University, I have
faced several kinds of challenges and opportunities
related to education. As a student of the England
University, I have issues regarding the high cost
and expenditure at the England. The study material
and college fees are too high in England and my
financial conditions are not much good due to
which I have faced difficulty.
Another major difficulty I have faced is related to
coping up with new management criteria and
handling of business operations in new working
environment. In order to adopt practices, procedure
and system of management I have also faced
difficulty (Kraus and Chandrasekaran, 2010.).
However, I have developed a proper mindset to
gain more knowledge and education in college. I
have decided to work on my basic knowledge and
core understanding in order to cope up with new
education environment and learning process that
has been followed by college. In order to overcome
challenges and cope up with new environment, I
have developed strong relationship with my senior
students and teachers so as I can easily cope up in
new environment. I have decided to attend all
training and learning classes that organised by
organisation for student that helped me in
improving my knowledge and performance.
The high quality of education system and learning
procedure helped me in improving my existing
knowledge, ability and skill. Overall, I can say that
to improve my education and learning in England,
selected university has assisted me in large manner
in order to improve my personality. However,
several challenges faced by me during this period
of learning but I found various opportunities for
growth and development (Erling and Richardson,
2010).
