PART 1
The central point of the article is that multi tasking has become one of the most important
aspects of daily life in the modern situation. However there are several researches and testing
going on in this part so that they are able to understand about the different impacts that are
created over the brain and the individual as a whole when the person is being interrupted many
times. Multi tasking must be reduced so that the gross output is maximum and also there are no
harmful impacts on human brain.
The author is of the opinion that in the modern day scenario multi tasking has actually
become one of the major and largely seen objects because people are at a huge competition in
every sphere. This is mainly because life has become very fast and people are now becoming
more and more mechanized. A very good example is that while some one is working over a
particular project in his or office, they are hardly able to focus over the project for 10 minutes
that is the uninterrupted time (Tugend, 2008). However, later that person is being interrupted. He
either has to attain any urgent meeting or answer a phone call or he has to attend to any
colleague. Therefore it can be said that the brain is always undergoing a huge stress or pressure.
This is because the survey or the research work that has been conducted in the year 2005 says
that A 2005 study, “No Task Left Behind?
Examining the Nature of Fragmented Work,” However this is because of the fact that on
average am employee who is trying to work over one particular project is made to shift from one
line of work to the other after every 11 minutes. Each time one is being shifted they also have to

spend 25 minutes more to again restore back or come back to the original work on which he or
she actually started. However
The counter argument status that this has now become the accepted pattern of life and
people are actually trying to do a lot of work as it is the very demand of the situation. He writer
herself says that she was working on this very article but in mindset of it she has been try to read
her emails so many times. Therefore this is basically an accepted trait that is developing in the
modern day scenario and must be stopped. However it is being said that the boundaries need to
be re created so that the brain is not being stressed and also people can get enough time to eat,
rest and sleep (Scheiner et al., 2019).
Part 2
This is indeed a very interesting film and also this is talking about the different ways in
which the students and their parents must behave. The goal of the director or the writer was to
ensure that the students, teachers and parents together can catch this movie and also get the best
result or the lesson out of it. However the student was unable to follow his math class properly
and made a mistake. In other words he was not sure on whether 2 plus 2 is 4 or 22. He was of the
opinion that 2 plus 2 is always 22. However this is the commonly made mistake by many
students but the film is about the best alternative strategy to teach students in a very friendly way
(Tugend, 2008).
The film has been directed in a very friendly manner with a tinge of fun and laughter so
that this becomes a very family friendly picture. However teachers and principals along with the
aid of parents must surely take part in the entire education process but at the same time, they will
have to ensure that they are not guiding their kids in any wring way. If they find that children are

making any mistakes it is their duty to ensure that they are always there to teach the correct
answers and the correct ways of learning.
The intended audiences are the teachers, education board, policy framers, students and of
course their parents. The tone of the entire piece is really gentle, easy to understand. However
there are some inappropriate or vulgar words that have been used and might be abolished else it
cannot be watched by the students. I feel that the film is quite ironical in the beginning because
parents and students will think that no teacher must impose their thoughts on students. However
Mrs. Ales was talking about academic integrity and that indeed is a very useful think
(youtube.com.2020). It is relayed with current affairs as because there are many students who
need some special attention and there must be a joint collaborative effort being given by their
school and also parents so that they can help their children in a proper way. I also feel that that
teachers must use friendly gestures and alternative teaching methods that would be helping
students in the long run.

This is a very useful post that the disadvantage of multi tasking. This is because it makes the
brain slower and also breaks the concentration. I have learned that there must be some changes in
our working patterns and we have to concentrate on one particular task at a time. However even
if we need to switch it must be after a long time and not frequently.

Thank you for this post as it really helped me to know a lot about the film. The director
wanted to make the audiences know that children are to be dealt with in a very friendly manner

so that they are able to learn all the subjects including math. However the parents made it really
dramatic and were not accepting such a simple issue and it made the film really ironic and funny.

I thank you for writing this post as it is throwing light upon the film Alternative Math in
a brilliant way. This film talks about the witty reply of the math teacher at the end of the movie.
However right from the beginning no one was listening to her when she said that 2 plus 2 is 4
and not 22. However at the end when the principal was termination her and said that the total
fees that they would give her is 2000 plus 2000 that is 4000 rupees, she gave a witty answer and
said it is 22000 rupees.

The post gives detailed description about the harmful impacts of multi tasking. This in turn
creates a huge pressure on the human brain. Therefore individuals must be trained to use the art
of single tasking so that they are able to balance themselves and work in a proper way without
losing concentration. This post has also helped in understanding that it is useful to built barriers
like sleeping for long hours, eating food on time and spending less time on mobiles or emails
while already working on any particular project.
