Answer 1: Even though I study very hard, I tend to fail in my lessons because I am unable to
memorize what I have learnt. I unfortunately have a very poor memory, with the result that even
after comprehending a topic and memorizing the content, I am unable to reproduce the content
that I have learnt. This has resulted in me getting low grades and failing my exams. I am also not
very good at mathematics as my basic is not very good. Thus, I am unable to comprehend
complicated math problems, which has resulted in me failing in mathematics. My poor memory
coupled with my inability to understand Mathematics has led to me to fail and perform poorly in
my studies. My inability to retain information in my mind even after studying comprehensively
and for a very long time has led me to secure poor marks in all subjects. I am also not able to
express myself coherently and in a lucid language and my writing skills also needs attention.
Answer 2: I want to continue studying because I believe education is very important in life.
Education helps in forming one’s character and makes a person a better individual. Education
opens one’s mind and broadens one’s outlook and perspective towards things. Education also
makes a person tolerant, non-judgmental, and respectful of others. I also like studying in this
school because I really like this school and I like the way our teachers interact with the students.
Our teachers are very encouraging and always motivate us to perform better. They are always
willing to listen and lend a patient ear to all our problems. They are kind and compassionate and
gently rectify our mistakes. Our teachers guide us in all our curricular and co-curricular activities
and strive to make us excel in them. Under their leadership and guidance, students are
encouraged to perform their very best. I have also made many friends and the support given to
me by them is noteworthy. Thus in lieu of the above facts, I want to continue studying.

Answer 3: If I get a chance to study in this school, I promise to improve myself and be a lot
more motivated. I will be more attentive in class and pay close attention to the classroom lectures
given by my teachers. I will be more dedicated towards my work and ensure that I complete my
assignments on time. I will also start visiting the library and start reading books, journals and
other educational supplements in order to develop my knowledge base. I will study more
diligently and work hard to obtain knowledge and score good marks in all subjects. I will devote
myself to my studies and work doubly hard towards securing good marks. I will be more
proactive and will work hard to improve my communication skills as well as my writing skills. I
will undertake exercises on memory retention to improve my memory, as memory retention is
not my strongest point. I will try to take part in all the activities of our school and be actively
involved in debates, elocutions, quizzes and extra-curricular activities in school. I will work
towards becoming a well-rounded individual and be a better person.
