Language Teaching is one of the most effective and essential activity which allows
teachers and instructors to appropriately teach different languages to individuals which further
enhances the scope of communication for the learners as well as broadens their scope of grasping
a foreign language. The further evaluation is based on teaching English Language, to a group of
students. This report below focuses effectively on the language which is being taught and
preparation and planning for teaching the same. It also includes communication skills or teacher's
talk and implementation of methodology used to deliver the teaching. Moreover, the report also
emphasises on classroom management as well as a detailed reflection son the pointers which
were successful and ones which were not.
LANGUAGE FOCUS
The teaching was directed towards teaching English Language to students. This is quite
an important language which is very crucial for individuals to learn. The purpose of the lesson
was to teach students about Vowels. There are several reasons for which it was necessary for the
students to learn this language. Some of these reasons are mentioned below:
English is supposed to be one of the most frequently and widely used language.
Furthermore, according to various statistics, every one out of five individuals speak this
language in their daily lives, which makes it even more necessary for students to
effectively learn its use and apply this.
Another reason for why students require to learn this language is that in the era of internet
and technology, English is overall used in the internet. Along with this, every exchange
of crucial information on a global level takes place in this language.

It is highly important for individuals to prepare beforehand all the necessary aspects
which would be required to deliver an effective teaching lesson to students. Furthermore, it
would also assess in carving appropriate resources which would be required to attain this
purpose. For the preparation, the first and foremost aspect which was to be prepared was the
lesson plan. An effective and essential lesson plan was prepared in terms to provide the lesson to
students related to Vowels. In addition to this, it was analysed that only those materials and
aspects be included within the overall lesson which were focused on the English Language only.
Materials were organised according to the “Spell and Run” Activity which was planned to be
conducted in order to provide the students a more detailed knowledge about Vowels.
