Introduction
Trainers and teachers need to have effective knowledge in order to teach a particular subjectin a
specialist area. Trainers get training and education in specialist area for teaching the particular
subject in future. In this study, English has been selected as a specialist area. Objective of
training and education in English is going to be discussed along with philosophical issues of
training and education of English. Structure and aim of qualification as well as learning program
are going to be discussed along with approaches of preparation and planning. Approaches of
preparation and planning of learning program can be helpful in solving issues of training and
education i8n specialist area. Emerging technologies can be helpful in meeting the aim of
education and training in specialist area. Ways to improve knowledge and skills in specialist area
with the help of other teachers are also going to be discussed here. Technologies can be used in
solving the issues of training and education in order to provide effective knowledge of English to
students.
LO1: Philosophy and aim of education in training and education
Task 1
1.1 aims of training and education in specialist area
Training and education is important in order to get enough knowledge in a particular area so that
that knowledge can be used for helping others. In case of English, it is important to have
effective knowledge of the subject for dealing with different situations of lives and workplace.
As stated by Kirkpatrick (2018:16), the aim of a teacher is to provide effective knowledge to
students in specialist area so that the students cannot face any kind of issues in that specialist
area. For an example, if a person has been found to face issue at the time of writing and speaking
English then it can be said that the person has not got effective training and education in the
specialist area. Training and education of English is important for people so that they can able to
work in different countries effectively as English is a common language.In accordance to Qi
(2016:1), a person can able to communicate with people belonging to different countries if and
only if the person has effective knowledge about English. Effective training of English can be
helpful in dealing with different people and people can able to achieve the goal of their lives. It is

the duty of a teacher to provide effective knowledge to students by teaching the subject. That is
why, training and education are required to meet the objective of education in lives of many
people.

Different types of philosophical issues are faced by teachers as well as students at the time of
training and education of English. Teachers are facing challenges related to ways of training and
education in order to provide effective education to students. In accordance to Scott & Scott
(2018:20), different ways of training and education are traditional way of learning, applied
learning and action learning. It is difficult to understand that which way is effective for providing
better education to students. Some teachers use to provide training and education of English to
students by using traditional method and some use practical way to provide knowledge of
English to students. Action learning is also used by some teachers in order to teach Englishin
effective way.

2.2 Structure and aim of learning programme in specialist area
As stated by Kirkpatrick (2017:43), Learning Program can be effective in providing education of
English to students. In order to make the learning program interesting, different roles can be
provided to different students and they need to perform their role and speck the dialogues in
English. In this way, students can find interest in learning English and this process can change
the structure of education system. As commented by Wong& Hyland (2017:19), teacher also
needs to paly a role in order to influence students to perform their roles effectively. Teachers can
able to help students to find interest in learning by organizing this kind of learning program.
Learning Program can also help the students to have effective knowledge of practical program so
that they can able to use this technique in providing knowledge to other students in future.
2.3 Approach to preparation and planning for delivery of learning
programme in specialist area to meet aim
Different approaches can be used by teachers in order to provide effectuate knowledge to
students. Technical way is an effective way of teaching in this modern era. As influenced by
Green (2017:35), people arefamiliar to use technology to develop the knowledge and skills. So,
teachers need to use technology in providing the knowledge of English. In accordance to Scott &
Scott (2018:20), presentation and other technologies ca be used by teachers in order to help
students to develop their skills on the subject so that they can able to develop their career
effectively by having great knowledge of English. The aim of training and education of English
can be achieved if students can able to develop their skills and knowledge on the specialist
subject English.

It is important for teachers to understand the students and their needs so that they can able to
teach them in effective way. In this modern era, it is important for teachers to use interesting way

proper knowledge about the language. English has a rich and deep background that needs to be
studied with proper attention and application of advanced methods.

Teaching resources of English includes teaching of proper grammar as per the rules that are set
by qualified learners. The main way to develop knowledge of English among learners is by
gaining knowledge of new words and vocabulary. Dictionary turns out to be very useful for

learn English from books, newspapers and other materials that have been published with proper
depths of the use of the language. English is used in most of the learning materials and learners
are able to develop knowledge over the proper use of tense in particular areas so that they are
able to increase their spoken power and vocabulary of the Language.
4.2 Inclusiveness of use of learning and teaching resources in specialist area
All these ways of teaching and developing knowledge over the English language are done by the
learners and teachers so that they are able to develop deep knowledge about the Language. In
most of the cases, it is seen that people of the world try to increase their spoken ability with
proper application of learning and reading materials. These materials are often available to the
learners from their institutes and at other times it is bought by them so that they are able to
develop their knowledge through proper practice. According to Artiles&Kozleski (2016:17),
Teachers use advanced methods like video classes and classroom readings so that the learners are
able to develop proper ideas of the language. Learning methods are often incorporated by
teachers and learners by following certain coursework and textbooks so that they are able to
increase their vocabulary by implementing new objectives as per the learning methods.

experts and remain liaised with such people so that proper knowledge about the specialist area
can be developed. In the view of Scott et al. (2016:89), a person needs to keep themselves
motivated so that they are able to that developing knowledge over their areas of practice and
choice from the people who practice the same on a regular basis. Learners need to understand
that following experts can help in the development of experience in the particular field and they
can be able to pass on their knowledge to others. Being a participant in developing own practice

coursework that are uploaded by experts in order to increase their ways of application of the

5.2 Impact of liaison with other trainers and teachers within specialist area for
own practice
Liaison proves to be very helpful for learners and teachers due to several positive impacts that
are brought about by them. Primarily in case of teachers of English, it can be seen that teachers
learn styles of teaching a particular group of students from senior teachers. Knowledge of the
teachers of English is not enough to effectively perform their roles. A teacher needs to apply
their knowledge in such a way so that they are able to transfer it to their students. Skills related to
proper application and implementation processes also needs to be known to the Teachers so that
they are able to educate the learners under them. Further, Liaison enables the teachers to develop
knowledge about the ways in which the learners can be trained by them with the help of ideas
that are achieved from the experts. As per the view of Coady et al. (2016:355), teachers learn
from teachers and are able to increase their efficiency with time. Experience and knowledge of
styles and teaching procedures of Experts needs to be followed effectively so that new teachers
are able to develop their performance in the institution in which they provide the services.
Learners also need to follow the process of Liaison as it enables the growth of individual learners
just like it does for the teachers. Learners are provided with reading materials and course works
from the experts so that that are able to remain in a continuous process of development of
vocabulary of English.
LO6: Improving and updating knowledge in specialist area
Task 6
6.1 Effectiveness of skills and knowledge in specialist area
Skills and knowledge that are developed in English enables learners and teachers to develop
proper confidence to share their knowledge with other people. Further, it is also seen that
learners and teachers are able to develop proper spoken power and this increases the flow of
knowledge from one person to another person with time (Ahmad, 2015:67). For example, it can
