The summary of the reading Writing Today (Canadian Edition) will be discussed in this
paper. The authors of this reading are R. Johnson-Sheehan, C. Paine, C. Shaw and J. Stouk. It
was published in the year 2014 (Johnson-Sheehan et al., 2014). It seems that writing is a very
complicated process of bringing out the expressions of the mind. In case of formal and academic
subjects, it is very crucial to include the introductions and conclusions properly.
Otherwise, the readers will not be able to understand the actual meaning or purpose of the
paper. It is also commonplace that readers will find it very difficult to grow the interest in a piece
of writing if the introduction and conclusion sections are not properly drafted. Readers might
lose their interest in reading out the rest of the paper also. If the conclusion part is not drafted by
inserting all relevant points, readers will definitely get confused about the elements of the paper
that were included (Johnson-Sheehan et al., 2014). The readers always want to have a proper
