Introduction
The main objective of this assignment is to provide a system vision documentation of
a particular enrolment systems that will basically guide the students regarding every
administrative facilities that is being provided to them by the National University that is
situated in Australia. This can be defined as a type of inception phase of the enrolling system
that basically the university want to design for every students who will study in their
university.
Brief description of System Vision Document
Problem of the present system
The National University provides every students studying in their institution to with
the administrative facilities that are manual (Joret et al. 2016). So, the students are facing
numerous problems like they had to stand in a queue at the time of enrolment, taking the
admissions manually, making of payments after finishing their visit to the account
department which means making the payment manually as well as access every terms and
conditions and also areas of specialization manually by them.
Advanced system approach
In order to decrease the difficulties that the students are facing during their study in
the universities, the organization or the university must develop an online system for the
enrolment. If this happens then the enrolment system will get maximum capabilities of the
whole administration that are basically manually provided and will be online provided after
enrolling the online system by the university in Melbourne.

The advantage that the new system will provide is the facility to gather the personal
information of the students. The system will also give opportunities to the students to choose

provided by the university (Ignatenko,2016). If this happens then the students would be able
to select the terms for which they will appear. The payment procedure can be made online
and this will definitely provide a great help to the students for a very quick and efficient
enrolment with the university.
System Capabilities
This type of system will give new set of facilities that will make easy for the students
to enrol them in the university (Daly et al. 2015). The systems will be providing a variety of
data that students will get access to and the students will get the license to choose their
favourite lectures and the classes as well as select their specialization where they would like
to do their graduation or post-graduation. The whole system will be divided into 5 parts.
Collecting of the credentials: In the first and the basic stage the system will be able to gather
the credentials of the students for their enrolment, where their personal details like name,
address, mobile number and their personal email-id of every students I being provided for
their verification (Wu, 2017).
Course selection: Many courses are provided by University of Melbourne. The students
need to select their streams and the courses that they want to enrol to. The students need to
select their respective streams and the programme for which they are basically enrolling.
After that the software will basically verify all the selected areas in order to provide the

students with correct update and be aware of all the sections that are made by the students
already.
Selection of the lectures: The students will get the license of variety of courses in university

students exceed the maximum values then the system will automatically stop the enrolment
of the students as well as their selected courses.
Last verification: In this last and final verification process will provide the students with the
students will the opportunity that the selection they made to alter the courses if they are not
confident about it (Graves et al. 2016). The verification step is extremely vital because after
this stage the students will not get any kind of opportunity to alter their courses and after this
they have to make their final payment.
Selection of the payment: The system will automatically auto generate the fees and will help
the students to make their payment (Clark & Maas 2016). The gateway of the payment will
be made in such a way that the students will get the access of all the payment options so they
will get the choice to choose among all the payments and at last take effective decisions
which payment they should make in order to successfully complete their course selection
process.
Last and final steps: This will be the last and the final procedure for the enrolment where the
necessary data will be provided according to the student’s selection. After this step the
student will get registered for a particular course at a particular time.

The enrolment systems if implemented by the University of Melbourne will give a number
advantage to the business as well. It will provide an easier student interface which will save

Operational Feasibility- Operations is basically easier to manage as the enrolment
system will be quite easy to access for the students as well as the management.

Thus from the above discussion the conclusion comes out that implementing a digital
enrolment system in the organization will make the system extremely easier for both the
organization and the students. The system or the enrolment system will be effective in
communication as well as provide an excellent path to the students as well to enrol the
students in the university. This enrolment system will basically help the students in analysing
all the courses and the enrolment system will also provide help to the organization regarding
