Introduction
Generally, different researchers have argued that there is need to come up with apt measures that
will target to improve education system in 21st century. There are number of skills which will
determine the success of education system in 21st century. Therefore, it shows that if learners
lack the key skills then it will be difficult for them to be competent for job opportunities.
Discussion
The section analyses the skills needed by the learner’s .The first step that will guarantee success
in secondary education is through the collaboration. Basically, collaboration is the most essential
skill to get things done in 21st century. At first the issue of collaboration in education system may
seem as pretty obvious thing but it is the major source of success. It’s important for students to
see collaboration from actions revealed by the teacher in class (Paine & Schleicher, 2011). The
issue of collaboration helps learners to share ideas thus enhancing concept of creativity and
innovation. Students should realize the importance of team working when learning .Use of teams
helps learners to borrow ideas and initiate apt methods for dealing with certain problem
experienced in daily life.
Also, the education system in 21st century should come up with creativity courses. It is believed
that learners loose their creativity as at their old ages. Children have high creativity than
adult .The education system should consider the creativity level in institution since it the main
engine that drives the current world. Schools should make sure learners don’t lose their creativity
spark as they approach higher education levels.

In addition, learners should focus on lifelong education. Most of the students think that education
stops after college or university (Paine & Schleicher, 2011). This shows that learners need to be
advised so as to realize that education is for lifetime endeavour. Students should have self control
that will determine the issue of discipline. Generally, discipline is the central core for the success
in institutions.
The other aspects are determined by the teaching practices used by the teachers. The most
important thing is not on the subject teachers are teaching but how teachers use motivating skills
to teach students. Students don’t fail because they don’t know key concepts but they fail because
they did not either understand or they don’t like the teacher (Prensky, 2012).Teachers are the
main source of knowledge in classroom. If the student fails to grasp the appropriate concept
when the teacher is teaching then it will be difficult to trace the entire concept.
In addition critical thinking will boost the education system in 21st century. Generally, critical
thinking involves the ability to analyze and think clearly rather than accepting your personal
views within adequate proof (Torff, 2019). Basically teaching learners on importance of critical
thinking will assist in boosting the reasoning capabilities and also it aids in decision making and
problem solving.
Conclusion.
To summarize, it shows that the 21st century can only be achieved through use of the procedures
discussed. Students should understand the issue of collaboration, paying much attention to
concepts taught by the teachers. Discipline and hardworking are the key elements that helps
organization to access academic services. Also, learners need to have positive attitude to the
studies .Students should aim to move to higher levels after universities or colleges.
