INTRODUCTION
Organization behaviour is concept of the effective management in the new business
environment. This behaviour is the study on the individual, group and the company structure
have on different behaviour with in the organization for the purpose of applying new
knowledge and approaches towards the effectiveness of the company (Daamen and Bovy,
2011). This report based on the City college and Enterprise Rent a car have a different
organization behaviour. City college is a private college in London. The functions of the City
college deal in the human, technical and administration department. These all departments
have a different function such as human resources deal with the developing and maintaining
the college workforce, the teaching department involved the staff with delivering higher
education courses and the administration responsible for the student enrolment and finance
and property management. Enterprise a car is a company not sell the products its provides a
services the use of a car by the person. This report contain includes the different organization
behaviour and culture.
TASK 1
1.1 Different organization culture and structure.
The organization structure includes the different leadership, internal and external
environment, individual, group behaviours in the enterprise. Every business entity have a
different structure and culture such as formal and informal. City college and enterprise a car
both are has more formalized organisation structure and regulation. City college has a formal
hierarchical structure because it have a clear chain of control and command the execution
line. This college a lot o0f people reporting to the one or more people. Its has simple multiple
level of command. The main problem of the college is that the teachers working together are
on the same courses and its also providing the competitive pay for the new teachers.
On the other hand the Enterprise a car is a big business entity has a official standard and
structure (Solomon, Russell-Bennett and Previte, 2012). It has a massive size in the world
and its operations are incorporate. The management of the company try to reduce the layers
between the top management and the customers managers.
These company have a different type of culture- These different businesses nationalization
culture is the set of the shared of beliefs, values and different attitudes with in the company.

These all factors are directly related to the all members of the organizations to how they work
will be done.
Control- These companies are controlled on its structure with the stability, efficiency
and doing right things.
Create- The company creates a dynamic and innovation environment within the
organization that are the employees create the new things and new innovation in the services.
1.2 Relationship between organisation structure and culture impact on business performance.
Understand the relationship between different organization structure and culture.
There are many types of structure such as functional, product based, multi functional, multi
divisional and geographical based (Mendes, and Stander, 2011). The culture includes the
power, role, task, persons, values and norms are develop the culture of the business.
With the help of the structure the company become more easy in the process of management.
The structure of the business assists with a systematic framework of order that direct manager
to planning, organising, directing and controlling the overall company activities. On the other
hand the culture of the business entity refer the values shared by the enterprise managers and
employees and its also includes shared the assumptions, values, beliefs, ideas and pattern of
the language.
The structure and culture is the main key elements of the success of a organizations. These
both organisations operates its all function with the concentrating on these aspects to easily
attract the new and potential customers and take the high competitive advantage in the market
place. Business performance of the City college and Enterprise a car is different from each
other. The different performance is the ability of the both businesses to achieve the its goals
and objectives by making the effective use of its resources to fulfil the customer needs and
wants according their choices.
1.3 Factors which influence individual behaviour .
In the business work many employees with the different behaviour to achieve the
team and organization goals and objective (Wong, Wong and Ngo, 2012). In the business
entity the employee's behaviour that affected by the different factors of the City college and
the Enterprise a car. There are some factors are affected on the behaviour-
Leadership- A company mangers and leader are play an important role in the

direct the team members and observed the employees do not feel good that the leader stand
foe the team and to motivate the members.
Work culture- City college and Enterprise a car have different work culture and
employees are work in this environment with the different goals and objectives. Employees
are need to comfortable in the workplace and follow the all rules of the company should be
same for every workers (Suppiah and Singh Sandhu, 2011). A good work culture of the
business entity to a big impact on the employees works and behaviours.
Job responsibilities- Ever workers have a different job tasks in the workplace that the
employees take the own choice task so that they can perform better.
Effective communication- A good communication with in the all members of the
company that a good affect on the work and behaviour of the employees. A effective
communication in the workplace to feel good and other the lack of the communication
process the employees feel left out in the work tasks.

2.1 Different leadership style in different organization.
A leader in the company play an important role to motivating and directing the all
employees to achieve the corporate goals and objectives. A leader have the many leadership
styles according the different situation to helps the employees to work in the right direction
with comfort level. There are some leadership styles are followed by the city college and
Enterprise a car-
Autocratic style- This style is the leadership in which the owner to keep the all
executive power in operation and strategic department to make decision. These leader are
confident with the decision making responsibility related to the employees work and strategy
plan.
Participated style- These style emphasizes the manager to offer the guidance to its
members and reserved the right to take final decision with encourage the feedback, ides and
suggestions of the al workers.
Transformational style- This style of the leadership the more employees are satisfied
with the achieving the targeted task by their own ways (Tohidinia and Mosakhani, 2010) . Its

goals.
These all are leadership styles use by the different organization according to the own
capabilities and the situations and which can effectiveness for the company to implement the
properly.
2.2 Organisation theory underpins the business practice.
Management takes a place within structure to set the prescribed the role and its attain
the goals and objectives (Cosh, Fu and Hughes, 2012). Organization theory is the evaluate the
design and the relationship of the internal and external environment and also includes the
employees behaviour. The workers of the company follow the theory to practices in order to
better performance in their job activities. Management theory underpin the personal value of
the workers in that they not feel good with the some rules and regulation of an company
employees carry out their jobs as manager professionally they will set the principles. There
are some management theories-
Emphasis on structure of the company to achieve goals and objectives by the
employees contribution. Authority is the right to give the order to the employees to perform
better and should not be considered the without any references to responsibility. Discipline is
the most important to manage all work activities with in the enterprise and maintain the unity
of command by the manager and the leader. A leader give the direction to maintain the unity
of the direction to the employees. The structure and culture of the businesses may underpin
the different practice of the management. The general management theory of the company
needed more educated manager and leaders to take the critical decision in the short time.
2.3 Different approaches of management use by the different organisation.
City college and Enterprise has different style of approaches in the management
functions. The different way of the company through the structure, culture and leadership
approaches.
Structure approaches- City college and enterprise has the functional and divisional
structure that the functional structure create the better and road map for the employees to
achieve the goals. On the other hand the divisional elements divide the departments according
to the output by the company to focus on the result.

the college. Enterprise use this approach to providing the best services to their customer to
give the direction to their employees how to communicate with the customers and understand
the needs and problems.

3.1 Impact the leadership styles to motivate in the time that organization change.
There are leadership styles have effect on the small business but also includes the big
business entities. All styles affect on everyone behaviour in the company and they create a
culture that effect on the company performance.
Delegative leadership effect- This style adopted by the leader to take the decision
includes the functions of the group. This type of leader to give the guidance to the team
members for take the right decision to trust on the other team members.
Corporate culture effect- This leadership style have a big effect on the business
culture because the workers are act as in the way that they are the mirror of their leader.
Organization culture is comfortable with the every employees to work with more effectively
to achieve the objectives with trust on the all team members.
On the other hand the task oriented leaders focus on the main task of the job at hand because
he has a target the goal and tend to ignore the feelings of the team members. In this process of
getting the new job done the scare the all employees and the leader have much power and
control on team.
3.2 Application of motivational theories in the work place.
These companies look in the many some detail at the employees who are actually

college the all members are work together to providing the best courses to the students and
Enterprise all team members are work together to give the bet services to the customers with
the high moral.
Maslow needs theory includes the some basic needs of the employees with the motivating
factors that are affect on the person life.

performance. Its includes the employees work hours in the work place and the different work

challenges in the work environment to help in facing and completing the all challenges. These

After motivating the employees by the manager using this theory in the work place the
employees are self-conscious for their individual and group work and improving in the
organization image in the market place.

4.1 Nature and behaviour of group within business.
A group of the employees are classified by the different skills and experiences to
achieve the given target or more individuals are interacting and depends on each other to
achieve the group target. When a employees us own skills and experiences to get the best
outcome in a best agency that can fulfil the mission to use the accurate information inn
achieving the best quality of life. The nature of the group in the work environment is differ
from the individual nature in the work environment. A group of the people in the organization
the all members of the group to work together to help in achieve the team goals as well as
individual goals.
The team of the city college focusing on the goals to the team to provide the best information
and knowledge to the students to achieve the best result. This college team us the
motivational factors to work together to help complete the all own needs to complete the
group task with the each other.
The team of the Enterprise to work together to give the best services to their customers and
fulfil the needs and wants of the clients to increases the profitability (DeRue, 2011). All team
members help to each other to sharing the patterns of the communication to understand the
customer needs.
4.2 Factors that promote the development of teamwork in the company.
There are some factors to promote and development the team work at the work place-
Trust on team members- Build a trust on each other to take some times in the
different work environment. In a team includes the many members to work together with the

Wu, 2011). In different situation a team build a activity for utilize the team strength that the
leader may have take the responsibility to create the trust in the all team members.
Sharing the ideas and plan for action- A leader to take the responsibility to all
members sharing the ideas and experiences to give the new opportunities to find the best
solutions. To sharing the ideas at the end the all team members to take the right decision after
the decision.
Check the plans- after take the action the all team members are once more review the
all progress and evaluate the all approaches and strategies.
Focus on outcomes- The goals and objective of the team must be accepted by the all
members is critically good. In the return on a best profitability to the contribution of the all
team employees.
4.3 Impact on technology on team functions within the organization.
There are many impact on the new technology on the team activities within the work
environment. Its includes the many new techniques are as follow-

the many new information related to the work. There are many companies use the share
points to designed the new work websites for a specific project. The project manager use this
sites to share the documents and information within the all team members and its work very
effectively.
Emails- It is the most useful and common tool use in the sharing the information
within the business organization. The companies use the many new forms of the
communication within the team and email is one most effective form of the communication
to share the ideas and information related to the specific project.
Technology has a big influence on the group operation and behaviours (Hennig-Thurau and
et. al, 2010). Technology use in the company have the some limits of the new opportunities
they are no personal interaction with each other. And some times the opportunities for the
social interaction in the outside of the work environment. These all are technology are effect
on the behaviour and attitudes of the employees at the work and on the level of the
satisfaction of the job tasks.

On the basis of this report its concluded that the organization behaviour are includes
the individual, group and organisation culture ans structure. A good structure and culture of
the City college and Enterprise for the beneficial for the have best management capabilities.
The different organisation have the different types of the structure and the cultures and
relationship with the each to impact on the business performance as well as its employees
performance. In this report includes the some factors that affect on the individual behaviour
and the many leadership style and theories to motivating the employee and the group to
achieve the goals. In the company there the group behaviour in the work environment and the
some factors that promote the team work and trust on the each other. Identify the impact on
the new technology on the employees and organization behaviours.
