Victoria Alteration Clothing is an organization in Australia that provides alteration of
clothing services across seven locations in Australia. The VCA offers a wide range of
alterations of clothing and tailoring services that consists of women’s suiting and all trousers,
bridal wear, remodelling of vintage clothes and many more services to the customers (Gu et
al., 2016). The staffs of VCA records the details of the customers manually in a register.
However, this system is very slow and takes a lot of time. The Victoria Clothing Alterations
offers free pick-up and the delivery services that also involve the staffs collecting the clothes
from the collection of the customers. The Victoria Clothing Alterations provides excellent
services to the customers. There has been significant growth in the number of customers in
the last couple of years. Due to this, the staffs cannot manage the data of the customers and
provide the same level of services. The management of the company have attended an
workshop based on the benefits of the ERP system and they are willing to install an ERP
system to mitigate the risks of the business.
The aim of this report is to give logic in order to persuade the management of the
Victoria’s Alteration Company to install an ERP system. The report focuses on the analysis
of feasibility of the ERP system. The problems that will arise between the strategy f the
organization and the procedures of business of the Company. The report discusses about the
risks that are associated with the customizations of ERP and BPR. The report also focuses on
the current procedures of business and the changes in the business procedures of the
company. The report concludes with giving recommendations to the company about
installing the ERP system in order to mitigate the risks.

The Victoria’s Clothing Alteration provides alterations of clothing to the customers
across seven locations all over Australia. The goal of the company is give excellent services
to the customers. It can be seen from the recent scenarios of business that the customers are
increasing as a result the staffs of VCA are unable to manage the customer data and give the
same services to the clients. Recently, Victoria Alteration Company has attended a workshop
about the advantages of the Enterprise Resource System and wants to install it in order to
mitigate the risks in its procedures of business (Shen, Chen & Wang, 2016). The organization
must install an ERP system as the staffs of VCA are unable to handle the information’s of the
customers during the hours of rush. Because of this, the clients of the company are becoming
less. An ERP system can solve these problems of the company. The ERP system can keep the
records of the clients’ personal information, keep track of the expenses of the company, and
the other operations of the company that is impossible for the staffs to do it manually.
The business aim of the organization is to provide excellent services to the customers
in clothing alterations. In the past couple of years, there has been a notable increase in the
number of customers in the company (O'Sullivan & Caiola, 2016). Due to this, the staffs of
the company are not able handle the details of the customers and provide the same level of
services. Because of this, the customers are becoming less. An ERP system can give solution
to these kinds of problems to the company. The advantages of ERP are to focus on the costs
of IT, good services to the customers, improve the efficiency of the organization, and provide
security and quality of data. These things are needed by the organization to meet the goals of
its business. This can only be possible by installing an ERP system in the Victoria Clothing
Alterations company.
There are various types of ERPs that are present in the market. Among them the cloud
based ERP can be installed by the company. The benefits of the cloud based ERP includes

reducing of the expenses of the operations, the scalability are faster and better, the costs of

who can handle the system of ERP. The Enterprise Resource Planning needs time and money.
The company has enough yields because of its large number of customer base and number of
shops all over Australia. Victoria Clothing Alterations has enough money in order to buy and
install the ERP system (Chen, 2016). The technical evaluation of the company is also
necessary for the analysis of feasibility. The company in its premises will host an ERP system

al., 2019). If the needs of the company are not legit, then problems will occur. The
procedures of the company are to do alterations of clothes and to give good services to the

2015). Victoria Clothing Alterations is an organization that deals with the alterations and
tailoring of clothes. The present-day business procedures of the Victoria Clothing Alterations
include the procedures of the collection of the personal information and the credit cards
details of the company when the client contacts one of the shops of the organization. The
staffs record the personal details manually. After this, the staffs check the process of
workloads and then they notify the customers about the total cost of the alteration and the
probable delivery date. The company offers free of cost delivery to the customers. The
company for the advantage of the company gives the clients an identity proof. However,
during the peak hours there are large number of customers and the staffs’ makes mistakes
while recording the personal details of the customers (Vom Brocke & Mendling, 2018). The
present day procedures can be changed and new procedures of business can be proposed
where these types of mistakes are not made.

staffs manually. It will also keep track of the money transactions in the VCA Company. The
operations of the company will be carried out by the ERP system. AN ERP system will help
the company to record the number of customers in each of the stores, payments received and

system will help the VCA Company to generate reports based on all these information.
Recommendation
The Victoria Clothing Alterations does the alterations and tailoring of clothes and has
stores across Australia. The business procedure of the company is good but it sometimes fails
during the rush hours. The VCA Company can be recommended with an ERP system that
will lessen the workload of the staffs of the company during the rush hours. The ERP system
will help the company in its daily operations that are sometimes mistaken by the staffs as they
are done manually. The ERP system will record and track the personal information of the
customers who are doing alterations and tailoring, daily transactions of money, workflows off
the company and the other operations. The ERP system will then generate a report that will
be based on all these information.
