Introduction:
The report is aimed at providing an elaborate description of the process of utilization of
the Enterprise Information Architecture for the purpose of deploying the e-Government system
in the United Nations. Additionally the report would also be associated with providing a brief
description of the benefits obtained by utilizing the Enterprise design and the Enterprise
Information architecture. Followed by this the report would also be associated with putting
forward of the discussion about the way by which the e-government implementation would be
associated with providing an enhancement of the different government services which would be
much more better than the conventional government service processes (Romero and Vernadat
2016). After discussion of all this aspects the report would be also providing a brief description
of the benefits which would be brought by usage of the e-government and how the United
Nations would be benefited after the implementation. For discussing about the benefits three
major aspects are taken into consideration. An elaborated approach towards the system
implementation has also been discussed in this report and for assisting the discussion a pictorial
representation has also been provided. Lastly the report analyzes and identifies the drawbacks
faced by the approached system and followed by this the report would be providing an effective
suggestion for the developers so as to mitigate the problems which has been identified while the
e-government system is to be implemented in the United Nation.
Intelligent Enterprise Design:
The case study which has been provided helps in identifying the fact that the
implementation of the Intelligent Enterprise Design is going to bring a lot of benefits than the
traditional government systems operating in the United Nations (Stackowiak et al. 2015). For

this reason, there is an essential need of utilizing the functionalities of the Intelligent Enterprise
Design so as to gain a general idea of the concept of Intelligent Enterprise. Studies have been
associated with suggesting the fact that the Intelligent Enterprise generally refers to the
replacement of the operations that the traditional working procedures are having by
implementation of the advanced technologies. Additionally the implementation of this advanced
technologies along with the Intelligent Enterprise is associated with involving less interaction of
human and helps in providing a service which is much more efficient (Whittle and Myrick 2016).
So from the aspects discussed above it is possible to state that the implementation of the
intelligent system by the United Nations would surely be helping in the providing of
enhancements in the services that are provided.
Along with the benefits which are put forward because of the implementation of the e-
government system by the United Nations there also exists several objectives which are
presented and by the objectives is possible for the government authorities to decide that the
adaptation of the functionalities of the intelligent system in the government services is very much
necessary. The primary vision lying behind this is the implementation of the e-government
service which would be helping in the incorporation of certain features which are responsible
helping in making improvements in the system and help the system in improving the
effectiveness of the government services as well of the United Nations. The features mainly
includes the Citizen Centric Approach, Common Infrastructure and Interoperability along with
the collaborated business operation and services. The goal which is desired includes the
implementation of a Citizen Centric System which would be associated with providing of offers
which in turn would be associated with facilitating the process of incorporation of the internal
along with the external information resources (Chorafas 2016). This resources mainly includes

the gathered information from the population for the purpose of expressing the point of view
which in turn would be helping the government of United Nations to have an enhancement in the
services provided by the Government. This would be done by means of having a better decision
making process of the government and this in turn would be helping in expression of the point of
view for understanding the requirements (Dang and Pekkola 2016). The enhance decision
making process adaptation by the United Nations would be helping the administrator of the
Government in taking of the appropriate decisions so as to provide a better living to the citizens.
In addition to this vision which the United Nation Government is having, has also been
associated with expressing their interest in the process of incorporating the facility for
enhancement of the process of information transaction that exists between the different
government sectors. One of the major objective of the United Nations Government is associated
with including the adaptation of the concept of interoperability which is associated with the
implementation of a common infrastructure for the government system for the purpose of having
information transaction amongst the different organization (Darnton and Giacoletto 2018). A
Survey conducted in the year of 2010 has been associated with putting forward of the fact that
the government of the United Nations is having the interest of adopting the feature of
Collaboration of the Authorities and along with this the survey of 2010 has also been associated
with highlighting the fact that the Government of the United Nations is having the demand of
incorporating the multiple ministers as well as the businesses into the services provided by the
government. The concept incorporation would be associated with providing help in the process
of enhancing the services because the entire system would be standing on a common
infrastructure. So from the analysis it is possible to state the fact that the vision which the United

functionalities and for this reason the government authorities are seen to have decided that the
new e-government system should necessarily be implemented (Dang and Pekkola 2017). The
functionalities are mainly associated with including the features related to the analysis of the
large amount of data so as to take decisions along with the features such as storage and
processing of the data of unstructured nature and all this are responsible for invoking of the
working processes which the United Nations Government is having.
Decision making approach:
The survey conducted in the year of 2010, upon the services provided by the United
Nations government helped in understanding the fact that the authorities of the United Nations
have taken a decision which mainly involves the essential consideration of the Point of View of
the citizens of UN so as to have a better action which would be undertaken for the purpose of
providing benefits for the entire population (Nakakawa, Namagembe and Proper 2018). Due to
this reason the process of incorporation Enterprise information Architecture would be associated
with offering a lot of facilities related to the expansion of the information resources in the
internal as well as in the external resources of information. This would be helping the
government of the United Nations in analyzing the information resources along with helping in
the process of taking effective decisions which would be beneficial for the citizens of United
Nations (Weerakkody et al. 2018). However in case of the traditional or the conventional

processes of the Government it has been seen that the Government is not associated with the
incorporation of any kind of external information resources.
Processing of the Unstructured Data:
The features stated above are very much beneficial however along with this the
Enterprise Information Architecture is also associated with providing of offers for the procedures
in order to process the information which are gathered and in structured or unstructured form.
But in case of the traditional method for processing of the data there is not feature of considering
the unstructured data as a valid source of information (Svärd and Joshi 2015). So from this it can
be stated that in the traditional method the information which are unstructured were simple
ignored. And so the implementation of the e-government by utilization of the Enterprise
Intelligence Architecture would surely be helping in improving the services provided by the
government as well as in the working efficiency.
The outcomes obtained from the comparing the conventional and system approached has
helped in understanding of the fact that there exists a significant impact of the implementation of
the e-government system and the reason behind this is that is associated with providing an
solution which is very much effective for addressing the problems which have been identified.
So from this it possible to state that there exists a huge scope in the future for the e-government
for the purpose of improving the services offered by the government of the United Nation.
Enterprise Information Architecture Reference Architecture:
From the analysis it is clear that there exists several aspects which are beneficial for the
authorization and for this reason the government of the United Nations have been associated with
deciding the fact that there is need a need of implementing an e-government system which would

be utilizing the concept of Enterprise Information architecture Reference Architecture
(Banaeianjahromi and Smolander 2016). There are several beneficial aspects and the three most
important aspects is associated with including the big data analysis, effective approach towards
decision making along with the approach for transaction of the information amongst the common
infrastructure which exists within an organization. The facility which are provided by the big
data analysis is followed by the effective decision making process and it has been observed that
the conventional approach towards processing of the data is lacking the feature of analyzing the
data of large scale (Gorkhali and Xu 2017). But the approach adopted toward the system in this
case is having the facility of analyzing the large scale data by making use of the data analysis
method which is very much effective. In addition to this, the approached system is also having
the feature of providing effective decisions and this is dependent upon the analysis of the data
that has been collected. This approach is seen to be effective and is associated with helping in
providing of the benefits that are desired for the population in accordance to the requirements
that they are having. Followed by this is the feature of common infrastructure for transacting the
information within the government sector is another benefit provided by this approach.

Conclusion and recommendations:
The analysis has helped in concluding to the fact that there exists different positive
impact which exists in the working process of the approached system and this mainly includes
the analysis of the data, effectiveness and transaction. But still, depending on the analysis of the
approached system it can be stated there are certain drawbacks as well which are responsible for
having a direct impact upon the working efficiency of the new e-government system and this
drawbacks are mainly related to the various aspects of information security, failures occurred and
business collaboration.
Recommendations:
 There exists limitation in the information security which are responsible for providing
protection to the information obtained and this threats are generally faced because of the
external attacks. So it is recommended
 Along with the different security factors, the effective collaboration system which is to be
used for collaborating the work of the ministers with the business is also another important
aspect. Thus it is recommended to develop a system which would be effective and would be
having an enhance collaboration functionality.
 Along with the aspects stated above, it is also very important and necessary to mitigate the
limitations related to the technological miss-conduction with the highest priority and the
reason behind doing so is that this might have a direct effect upon the services provided by
the government.
From the entire study it can be concluded that the approach towards the development of
the e-government system for the United Nations by making use of the EIA and the Intelligent

Enterprise design would be associated with bring a lot of benefits. Besides this it has also been
seen that that this approach is associated with providing of much more benefits than the
traditional system of the government. However along with the benefits there also exists certain
limitations as well. The report has been associated with providing of evidences related to the
