Aston Martin:
In accordance to Nugraha and et. al. (2020), enterprise resource planning facilitates
integration and management of processes of an organization that is required to run a business. It
can be described as an ability of sharing common procedures as well as data model which covers
broad end to end procedures of operations that are involved in a firm. Applications of enterprise
resource planning facilitates automation and supports broad range of operational as well as
administrative business activities. It includes various aspects of an organization, such as, line of
business, administrative, asset management as well as customer facing. Apart from it, Rupčić

managing daily operations of business. it facilitates various activities of an enterprise such as,
management and compliance of risk, evaluation of supply chain, project management,
accounting as well as procurement.
To analyse importance of enterprise resource planning in enhancement of business
activities of Aston Martin:
Miller (2019) signifies on the fact that incorporation of effective planning in context to
enterprise resource helps entities in enhancement of financial results of business by effective
planning, budgeting, prediction and reporting. In relevance to Aston Martin, it can be stated that
implementation of enterprise resource planning enables adequate data flow. Further, Koch and
Mitteregger (2016) indicates that planning of enterprise resource facilitates collection of shared

transactional data from various sources. In addition to it, systems of enterprise resource planning
facilitate elimination of risks associated with duplication of data in a firm and provides integrity
of data. It plays a crucial role in relevance to management of business activities. ERP system
facilitates centralization of information regarding resources and potential of an organization.
Hence, analytics as well as reporting of Aston Martin improvises which fosters efficiency of
business. this effective technique of business intelligence provides functionality and enhances
report generation capacity of a firm. It ultimately helps in improving efficient formulation of
policies and strategies which leads to enhancement in level of productivity and profitability of an
enterprise. Apart from it, Cao and et.al. (2018) focuses on the fact that planning of enterprise
resources reduces the chances of human error in a company. As, it eliminates tedious task of
report generating, monitoring of inventory level, tracking of timesheet and processing of orders,
which are time consuming tasks. ERP system automates such tasks and it allows effective
evaluation of data entered in short span of time.
Coghill (2017) discussing on one of the most essential aspect of enterprise resource
planning which indicates that it fosters maintenance of relationship with customer as hectic
working of collecting, summarizing and reporting of information are eliminated or avoided. This
hectic working serves as a reason for downgrading generation of leads and conversions. It
provides leverage to staff members of an enterprise to focus on issues as well as feedback of
customers. It helps in enhancement of satisfaction level of customers which ultimately results in
improvisation of brand loyalty of customers towards Aston Martin. Further, Sadri (2020) states

enterprise resource facilitates implementation of efficient tool for communication which helps in
delegation of task, conversion between groups or various departments, sharing of files etc. it
enables adequate management of projects and operations of a company in an effective as well as
efficient manner. Another major benefit is explained by Dabi and et. al. (2018), i.e., enterprise
resource planning fosters management and monitoring of core processes of an organization. Such
core processes are of various types, such as, finance, manufacturing, operations, sales as well as
resources in an integrated manner. Hence, it can be stated that planning of enterprise resource

productivity level of employees of an enterprise. Further, implementation of enterprise resource
planning includes installation of software transferring of financial data, configuration of business
procedures and management of activities of Aston Martin. The system which is applied for the
purpose of planning of enterprise resource is required to be flexible, scalable, conveniently
adaptable as well as easily applicable.
To evaluate challenges which are associated with enterprise resource planning and
recommending strategies for minimizing its negative effects:
In the view of NASSIMA and HASSANE (2020), deployment of enterprise resource
planning comes up as a complex as well as expensive endeavours and hence, enterprises struggle
while defining benefits which are associated with it. Another challenge which Levin and Ivliev
(2020) indicates in association to implementation of enterprise resource planning is related to
data quality. Quality of data pertains a huge influence in interpretation of information that leads
to formulation of strategies for company. Hence, poor integration of data comes up as a
challenge in context to enterprise resource planning. Apart from it, Mucenieks (2018) signifies
that implementation of planning system for enterprise resource comes up as a failure due to
issues related to mind-shift. As, success of it is highly dependent on user. Hence, inability of user
in understanding and effectively utilising this technique may not lead to providing of desired
result in an enterprise. Apart from it, Mirhosseini and et. al. (2019) pinpoints that enterprise
resource planning is not adequately flexible. Hence, time as we as resources are required for
application of such technique. Another challenge in relation to application of enterprise resource
planning in Aston Martin is that implementation of this system comes up as a slow process.
Hence, if an organization want to adopt technique of enterprise resource planning than effective
and in-depth planning is required for the purpose of avoiding disruptions. Apart from it, Shaikh
(2017) states that application of planning of enterprise resource is a costly affair. Further, high
level of training is required for ensuring its appropriate utilisation by staff members. It also leads
to increment in costs of an enterprise. Apart from it, any kind of updates emerges requirement of
additional training of working staff of a company. Additionally, for incorporation of system of
enterprise resource planning in Aston Martin, entity is required to input its existing data in a new
format. In case of high amount of data, it takes longer duration of time. Another issue is
recognized by Fonseca, Rodello and da Anunciação (2017), which indicates that it enterprise
resource planning comes up as a complex procedure. Hence, high level of skills and expertise is

required for its effective utilization. In addition to it, high maintenance is required by system of
enterprise resource planning which leads to increment in costs that incurs in business.
Schmitz (2018) recommended that proper training to staff members of an organization
helps in enhancing effectiveness of enterprise resource planning. Hence, company should focus
on developing proper strategies and plans that ensures improvisation in skills and expertise of
employees. Apart from it, managing team of an entity should focus on choosing right software of
enterprise resource planning as per specific requirements of an organization which helps in
integration and eliminating lack of adequate flexibility. Bazán and et. al. (2016) emphasizes that
enterprise should enable automation in relevance to invoicing procedures and further integrate it
with applied system of enterprise resource planning. Further, sufficient testing should be
conducted before implementation of enterprise resource planning system for the purpose of
ensuring its smooth functioning and delighting its performance in accordance to organizational
requirements.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it can be concluded that enterprise resource planning is an effective
technique which facilitates management and monitoring of all business procedures and activities
of an organization. Although, there are some challenges which are associated with
implementation of enterprise resource planning which can be eliminated with utilisation of
appropriate strategies.
