I have seen from the researches that have been carried out within the field of business,
that the usage of enterprise systems have significantly risen as a part of enhancing the
business organizations and the procedures that they have been carrying out. In reference to
such data, I have specifically seen the rise of major amount of companies with their business
within the relative field since the systems have provisioned them with a singular platform that
carries the capability of allowing them to perform every individual function that is necessary
on a daily basis. This has specifically allowed the organizations to lower down the costs of
having multiple software applications to perform different functions at the same time.
However, the rise of enterprise systems have also allowed me to see the rise of threats that
might be posed towards the system to hamper the normal functioning or to steal information
that is contained within the systems belonging to the customers of the organization. As a
reason, I have seen majority of the business organizations within the relative field have been
undergoing the process of identifying such threats posed towards their enterprise systems as
well as to mitigate them with the correct amount of safety measures to secure the sensitive
information belonging to the organizations along with the customers of the organizations.
Such safety measures have again been visibly identified to be used in other forms of data
security or in the form of mitigation strategies towards the underlying threats. For instance, I
have seen IBM, which provisions its customers with IT solutions have taken up the matter to
be a serious concern and have already implemented measures of security to protect the
company data along with the personal information of their customers. This has greatly helped
the firm to keep their customer loyal to them for a greater period.
