ERP Implementation Report: Enterprise Systems, ECM01KM, Spring 2018

This report focuses on the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically within the Middle East region, with a case study on Omantel. Task 1:
In this task, a research paper will be developed regarding the success factors of ERP
implementation in the Middle East region. ERP system has an important effect on the success of
business and management of the organization. Although there are several benefits of
implementing ERP system, various challenges in implementing ERP is seen along with
integrating legacy system. In the study, Omantel will be selected as case study organization
where implementation of ERP and its challenge will be discussed.

In this task, a report will be prepared on industry talk comprising executive summary of
the understanding. Under the task, the feedback and opinion of the respondents will be analyzed.
The process of organization requires conforming to ERP model for ensuring smooth running
