Introduction
Enterprise Architecture specifically refers to a dire need for enterprises to be a part of
the digital transformation within the modern age. It shall also be considered by the enterprises
that in order to achieve respective benefits from the innovative ideas related to the newly
proposed models of business, process of adopting newer technologies shall be taken into
consideration1. Keeping this in mind, many of the exiting organizations have adopted
extensive efforts towards the implementation of Enterprise Architecture to build up the
enterprise systems within their existing organizations in order to match footsteps with the
ongoing digital revolution as well as to be alive within the fast growing field of business.
This report also includes a very limited research regarding the issues that have been faced by
the organizations undergoing the process of implementing the methods of enterprise
architecture2. All of these issues relate specifically to the competition that has been taking
place within the public sector. This report also puts forward the relative facts belonging to the
importance of implementing the various existing methods related to that of the Enterprise
Architecture. This discussion also includes the existing holistic approaches in relation to the
organizations that have planning to implement the methods within their business proceedings
as well as the utilization of the IT systems within the daily activities taking place in these
mentioned business organizations.

This particular case study was performed within the Norwegian Labor and Welfare
Administration (NAV). This firm had been established in the year 2006 from the fusion of the
Employment along with that of the National Insurance administrations as well as with the

implementation of the Enterprise Architecture, six of the major areas related to architecture
shall be addressed. There are basically Architecture related to business, Architecture related
to that of the information, Application architecture, technological architecture as well as the
Governance and Architecture related to Security.
This report has followed the basic approach of being interpretive towards the
implementation of Enterprise Architecture along with that of all the circumstances and
difficulties that come along during the procedure of implementation gets carried out9.
Interpretive research specifically has the prime focus upon the complexity in relation to the
human sense whenever such situations come up. However, it is far more necessary to have an
understanding of all the contexts of the IS within the information systems related research

under categorization if they are related to the study or relates to the general information lying.
However, after this the non-related information was not utilized. On the other hand, the
generalized data was used in the form of supplement to that of the data directly related to that
of the research that has been carried out.
Conclusion
As a conclusion to the above discourse, it can said that the organizations working
within the common field of business have been trying hard to get back on trend as well as to
match the footsteps with that of the digital innovation taking place. Along with that, various
of the researches have been carried out to have a better view towards the procedures that need
to be adapted by the organizations to have a better outcome from the method of
implementation related to that of the Enterprise Architecture that have been carried out for
the betterment of the organization specifically. In addition to this, a number of situations that
may arise along with the process of implementing the ideas of Enterprise Architecture have
been discussed in detail. Along with the difficulties, the methods related to their mitigation
have also been addressed along with. Categories under which all of the data acquired during
the process of research have been divided into three specific groups. All of these groups have
been under the influence of all the methods that have been followed under the procedure
related entirely to that of Enterprise Architecture.
