business.
Gap Analysis
The SWDC is a company that offers clothing alteration to its clients. The company
tries to give good customer services to its clients but sometimes due to some issues, they
cannot provide proper services to its clients (Ancveire 2018). The SWDC Company cannot
provide proper answer to some of the questions like number of clients at each of the stores of
the company, number of repeat customers and frequency they visit SWDC stores, their busy
periods, the revenue and the profits of the company. During rush hours, sometimes the
employees of the SWDC Company do not appropriately enter the details of the customers. To
solve these problems, an ERP system must be implemented in the company.
The First ERP software Netsuite will be able to solve most of the problems of the company,
as it will automate the back office as well as the front end of the company. It will fix the
revenue management of the Organization, order management and the financial management
of the organization (Hustad, Haddara and Kalvenes 2016). This ERP will solve the problem
of the company during the rush hours of SWDC company and it will assist the organization to
manage the profits and the revenues those are generated at the all the stores of the SWDC
Company. Furthermore, this software is based on cloud, so the data of the company will be
stored in cloud.
The second ERP software that is the Odoo ERP will help the company to manage the
customers using the modules of customer relationship management. This software is
applicable to this company and it will solve the problems that the company was facing in its
rush hours. This ERP solution will assist the employees to note the customer details who will
visit the stores and once the customers have visited any of the stores of the company, they do
not have to provide any details further as this software will note the details of these customers
(Basl and Novakova 2019). This ERP solution will help the SWDC Company to count the
total number of clients that visits the SWDC stores every day and count the reiterate
customers and their occurrence of visits in each of the SWDC stores using the customer
relationship management modules.
The third ERP solution that is the Sage Intacct is a solution that is based on cloud that
is it will store all the details of the customers and the profit and the revenues in the cloud.
This software solution will help the SWDC Company in its financial matters. It will help to
calculate the profit and the revenues of the company that is generated every day at each of the
stores of the Company (Phaphoom et al 2018). It will assist the SWDC Company to produce
reports based on all these figures like the total profit, revenue generated, and the total number
of clients that has visited each of SWDC stores. It will also help to improve “To Be” business
processes of the organization. The “To Be” business processes of the organization include
improving customer services during the rush hours and once the customer has visited and
provided its details then they do not have to provide any more details during their visit in the

ERP Architecture and Implications
The architecture of ERP is actually components that the ERP system is made up of (Vera
et al 2019). The server of the ERP system can be centralized but multiple users are in various
locations to use the ERP systems. ERP architecture can be divided into two types:
Monolithic system: These systems fit to the requirements of the company. It is created
using a single technology and a single vendor. The implications of this system
architecture are that it is not flexible to changes that are arising in the business and an
update is needed in order to upgrade the system.
Post-modern systems: The post-modern systems are oriented on the user and then the
monolithic systems. They are not a set of single product and the main advantage is that
clouds, social media and information drive them.
Other than, there are other architectures of ERP like cloud architecture and Service oriented
architecture (Olson, Johansson and De Carvalho 2018). The SOA are the architectures those
are oriented on object for the platforms of Web and it is based on the contract between the
provider and the client. The cloud architecture is based on cloud but this has several
implications and the company cannot use this because it has to depend on the external
vendors for the security and reliability and the continuity of applications of enterprise.
Selection of ERP System and Vendors
The systems of ERP that the SWDC wants to implement in the Organization can be done
through the utilization of evaluation criteria of ERP. The assortment of the ERP has some
evaluation criteria that requires to be identified to deploy the best ERP system in the SWDC
Company.
ERP Evaluation Criteria
There are various criteria by which an ERP can be evaluated so that the best ERP system
can be implemented in the company (Efe 2019). The company must evaluate the ERP
according to the evaluation criteria so that they can choose the best ERP, implement it in
SWDC Organization, improve business processes, and solve the problems that the SWDC
Company is facing. The evaluation criteria of ERP include:
Management of customer relationship
Reporting of accounts payable
Advantages of administration
Planning of capacity requirement
Business intelligence
Tools of email
Advanced allocations
Advanced planning systems
Business process management
Financial stability
Evaluation of the ERP Systems
The first ERP system that is the NetSuite can be evaluated using the evaluation
criteria that are discussed above. The NetSuite is a good ERP software that automate the back

an the front office (Arab Momeni, Yaghoubi and Ebrahimi Arjestan 2018). It fulfils
maximum of the evaluation criteria like the customer relationship management, accounts
payable reporting, business process management, and many more. The functionalities those
are absent in the ERP systems are the email tools, business intelligence and the advanced
planning systems.
The second ERP system is the Odoo ERP that is based on cloud and the main
functions of this ERP is to manage the customers using the customer relationship
management modules. On reviewing the evaluation criteria, it can be said that this ERP
system also fulfils maximum of the criteria that is discussed above (Niu et al 2017). The
Odoo ERP does not have the functionality of business intelligence, email tools, financial
stability and the advanced planning. Good software can be implemented in the SWDC
Company.
The third ERP software is the Sage Intacct and it is software that is based on cloud but
it only focuses on the financial part of the company and it does not help to manage the
customers of the company (Mohanta and Patnaik 2019). It only fulfils the little functionality
of the evaluation criteria and it is excellent ERP software but it cannot be deployed in SWDC
Company.
Ranking the ERPs Systems
According to the evaluation criteria, the ERP system that should be implemented by
the Company is NetSuite. The Vendor of the ERP solution is Oracle (Erkayman, Khorshidi
and Usanmaz 2018). It meets maximum of the functionalities of the evaluation criteria and it
has the advantage that it is based on cloud. Therefore, all the details can be stored in the
cloud. Therefore, it can be implemented in the company and it will be able to help upgrade
the business processes of the Organization.
The Odoo solutions meet few of the functionalities of the evaluation criteria, mainly it
focuses on the customer relationship management, and the other features include inventory
management, sales and many more. Thus, it can be implemented in the company but it will
only help to manage the customers and not the financial part of the company like calculating
the revenues and the profits that are generated every day.
The Sage Intacct is a ERP solution that assists to administer the financial part of
SWDC organization. This ERP solution meets only the financial part of the evaluation
criteria and other than this, it does not satisfy the evaluation criteria (Gupta 2017). Thus, it
cannot be implemented in the Company, as this cannot help to improve the customer services
and the business procedures. If it is implemented then along with it the Odoo should be
implemented that will handle the customer part of the company.
Feasibility Analysis
Feasibility evaluation is the procedure of confirming that a strategy, design or plan is
possible and it makes sense (Gemma et al 2017). This can be utilised in order to authenticate
the assumptions, decisions, constraints, business cases and approaches. It is important to
conduct the feasibility study of ERP in order to determine if an implementation of software is
the best course of action for the business. This study examines if the Company requires the
new software and they are capable of executing the project (Parhizkar and Comuzzi 2017).
The ERP feasibility study determines the following:

Recommendations
After researching on the topic, it can be recommended to the company that ERP
system is required for the company to resolve the issues of the company and upgrade the
business processes of the SWDC Organization. The ERP that can be implemented in the
Company is NetSuite and the Vendor is Oracle. This ERP has all the functionalities that the
SWDC organization needs in order to upgrade the business processes and also the help during
the rush hours of the company in order to note the details of the customers and help manage
the customers using the customer relationship management modules
Conclusion

that can be implemented in the SWDC Company that can solve the problems that the
company is facing and it will upgrade the business processes of the SWDC organization. The
NetSuite is the best solution that can be implemented in the company because it has all the
functionalities like CRM and financial management and it is based on cloud. Therefore, all
the details can be stored in the cloud. The report also focuses on the feasibility analysis of the
ERP solutions and the evaluation criteria upon which the ERP will be chosen by the company
to resolve the issues of the SWDC organization in order to provide best customer services to
its clients and also to answer few of the questions that the organization could not answer
before ERP solutions was deployed in the SWDC organization. .
