As per the above test, it can be seen that I hold good skills of being an entrepreneur and I
am occasionally enterprising. The achieved score of 63% suggests that I am likely to have
strengths in very few characteristics of enterprising.
The test suggests I have a need for achievement towards myself. I need to a strong
orientation towards my future in order to fulfil my set goals (Schaltegger and Burritt, 2017). It is
important for me to develop a reliance on my own ability as I am not much reliant on my own
ability to develop myself as a successful entrepreneur (Burns, 2016). The another area that I need
to work on is that I need more optimistic than pessimistic outlook in my life, it is going to help
me in achieving my goals perfectly. A better task orientation would help me in developing better
results as well.
My time management skills are weak and ineffective (Dhir, 2019). It is important for me
that I manage my time perfectly and achieve desired set of goals properly. Also, the development
of responsibility and persistence in pursuit of my aims is important. Although, I hold good skills
of creativity, yet it is important for me to develop a need for autonomy in order to achieve my set
objectives. I need to make efforts in calculated-risk taking because it will help me in ensuring
proper growth and development towards my future (Dees, 2017). At last, I need to improve my
responsibility and persistence skills in order to achieve required growth and advantage in my
career.

a. Creativity Test
The above mentioned creativity test showcases that I am above average in my creativity
skills and need to work in order to achieve better growth and advantage in situations. In order to
develop my creativity I am going to read more books, write more often, learn new skills and
would develop a habit of self-learning (Etzkowitz and Zhou, 2017).
b. Examples of my own actions and behaviours over my life and business career
In my personal life and my business career I have taken necessary actions which have
brought me growth and development. The time when I was growing up as an entrepreneur I
suffered from lack of communication skills. These skills made me suffer in terms of growth and
advantage. In order to improve my communication skills the important actions that I took
included public speaking, communicating with colleagues and taking help of a tutor. These
actions allowed me to become a better speaker and gaining advantage in situations of personal
and professional life where communication was a necessary part (Kirzner, 2015). Also, there was
a time arrived when it was hard for me to make required decisions in my business and personal
life both. I learned decision making with the help of my seniors and mentors. This allowed me to
become a better decision maker at time when required.
It was important for me to show a behaviour of strong confidence at times when I was
speaking with people and was sharing my ideas. I maintained a good confidence at most of the
times but at the times when I lacked some confidence, it became important for me to take the
help of my seniors to understand the important pitfalls and drawbacks. Another important

behaviours that I developed in my personal and business life includes high initiative and personal
responsibility, internal locus of control, tolerance of ambiguity, long-term involvement, use of
feedback etc. These behaviours allowed me to ensure growth and development and achieve
success as well (Kuratko, 2016).
3. Brief account of antecedent influences
Below mentioned is in what ways the antecedent have influenced my own character
traits:
Education: My school and college education have allowed me to develop professional
traits. Traits such as punctuality, confidence, time-management were learned by me during the
time of my education. School and college required me to arrive on time and submit my
assignments and projects on time. The made to develop a trait of punctuality (Storey, 2016).
Family Background: My family belonged from a military background. My father is an
Air-force lieutenant and younger brother serves the marines. Having such background allowed
me to learn discipline and managing my day to day responsibilities perfectly. This helped me in
developing important traits such as being a planned person, scheduling more often, goal oriented
etc. These traits helped me ensure better management in my personal and professional life.
Work Experience: While working with Apple Inc. as a marketing assistant I learned
effective marketing skills. I also found some opportunities where I got a chance to lead and
manage the marketing team. These opportunities helped me in developing traits such as
leadership and management. I learned how my leadership can influence the decision making of
the team and in what ways it can help the team to grow. The leadership attributes helped me in
developing characteristics such as risk-taking, motivating, coaching etc. The overall work
experience in Apple Inc. helped me in becoming a better manager and a leader and developing
important leadership attributes (Zahra and George, 2017).
4. Reflection, Conclusion and Implications
The character traits which I have developed overtime includes punctuality, confidence,
time-management, planning, risk-taking, motivating, and coaching. These traits helped me in
becoming a better professional individual and improve my overall business career. I managed to
improve my skills from the usage of these traits and have developed myself as an individual
completely. Along with it, I have observed that apart from these characteristics I need to develop
other characteristics as well that can help me achieve growth in the future. I need to develop

better relationship-building because I am not good at building relationships. Also, I need to
improve my critical thinking because being an entrepreneur would require me to be a good
critical thinker in necessary situations.
CONCLUSION
The above report explores the self-analysis of an entrepreneur. Important tests are done in
the report to analyse the importance of one's ability of being a successful entrepreneur. These
tests include GET and Creativity tests. Along with it, the report puts light on in what ways the
antecedent influences determines an entrepreneur's characteristics.
