INTRODUCTION
The concept of the entrepreneurial self-efficacy is associated and reflects the belief of the
individual about its ability to achieve and accomplish the various set entrepreneurial task. Along
with this the concept of Entrepreneurial self-efficacy also tend to affects and have significant
impact on entrepreneurial career choice and its development (Sreedharan and et. al., 2022). It has
been seen and reviewed that the becoming an entrepreneur is tend to be a complex and difficult
task along with developing effective skills and thinking level to become a successful
entrepreneurial and develop entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Thus, selection of the topic based on
the analysis and review the antecedents of the Entrepreneurial self-efficacy is seemed justifiable
and appropriate as it tend to highlight and supports the usefulness of the intervention and aimed
at encouraging the individuals to have and pursue entrepreneurial careers and training in more
efficient and effective way. Further, the current project and selection of the topic are also rational
and suitable to supports the review of the key antecedents that tend to comprises of the work
experience, education level, need of role models and mentors along with cultural and
institutional environment that supports creation of successful entrepreneurs (Vatousios and
Happonen, 2022).
Rationale for choice of qualitative interview
For analysis and reviewing about the selected research topic based on the entrepreneurial
self-efficacy and vital entrepreneurial antecedents use of the qualitative semi structured interview
would be made. The selection of the qualitative nature of method is tend to be rationale as it
supports and brings out a detailed method of investigation to get a better glimpse of the selected
topic based on lauding entrepreneurial self-efficacy in individuals (Alexander and Saleeshya,
2022). Beside this, undertaking of semi structured interview tend to supports and encourages
two-way communication thus allows a better way of the discussing about research problems.
Along with this, undertaking of semi structured interview is also effective and rationale to inspire
and supports new ideas through having flexibility in questions and supports in-depth and detailed
interview. Beside this, use of the thematic analysis would be made to interpret and evaluate the
data collected through semi structured interview that is also regional and significant as it
supports a systematic and meaningful way of organising data so the better understanding can be
acquired from that to ensure better research result (Barbalich and et. al., 2022).

The collection of the data would be made with the help of the semi structured interview
that comprises of the set of some specific pre-determined questions to evaluate and have data
gathering on the topic of entrepreneurial self-efficacy that supports mitigation of challenges
faced by individuals in becoming successful entrepreneur.

Q1) What is meant by entrepreneurial self-efficacy?
Q2) What are the key challenges that are faced by an individual while pursuing entrepreneurial
careers?
Q3) What possible steps can be taken to mitigate the challenge faced in pursuing entrepreneurial
careers?
Q4) What are the Theoretical foundations of ESE?
Q5) Which can be taken as the key Measurement of ESE?
Q6) What are the key antecedents of Entrepreneurial self-efficacy that supports and encouraging
individuals to pursue entrepreneurial careers and develop entrepreneurial ventures?
For the analysis of current interview questions use of the thematic analysis would be
made which provides a significant and effective method for analysis and reviewing the
qualitative set of data. Under the thematic analysis the researcher tends to closely examine the
data in order to identify and come up with effective set of common themes based on the topic
and idea generation thus supports coming up and drawing of meaning from raw data (Zuhair and
et. al., 2022). Further, the key steps and stages involved in analysis of current data based on
thematic review consists of the transcription, reading and familiarization, coding, searching for
themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming themes, and finalizing the analysis.
Interpretation of Findings
Theme 1: Entrepreneurial self-efficacy
Interpretation
On the basis of current interview, it has been analsysed and reviewed that the concept of the
entrepreneurial self-efficacy is related and associated with the application of self-efficacy in
entrepreneurship research, referring to the extent to which entrepreneurs are confident about their
own entrepreneurial skills to complete various tasks and projects. Further, it has been seen and

analsysed that the Individuals that tend to have a higher level of the entrepreneurial self-efficacy
are seemed to be more confident in their ability along with also supports to run their own
business with high performance.
Theme 2: Key challenges that are faced by an individual while pursuing entrepreneurial
careers
Interpretation
It has been interpreted and analysed that the many key challenges are there that are tend
to be faced by an individual while pushing entrepreneurial careers that comprises of lack of
training and guidance along with proper experience and understanding of the market. Along with
this, it has been also reviewed that issues related with budget management, critical thinking and
lack of vital skill such as time management and effective communication has been also faced as
challenges that are faced by an individual while pursuing entrepreneurial careers.
Theme 3: Possible steps can be taken to mitigate the challenge faced in pursuing entrepreneurial
careers

It has been interpreted that the One of the earliest challenges to overcome while pursuing
entrepreneurial careers is to Learn to be self-aware and understand the personal habits that
supports and leads to better mitigation of the challenge faced in pursuing entrepreneurial careers.

Based on current review it has been interpreted that the key antecedents of Entrepreneurial self-
efficacy including work experience, education and training, role models and mentors, individual
differences, firm characteristics, and the cultural and institutional environment.
Reflection on the process of interviewing and analysis
The undertaking of current investigation is effective and very informative for me that
brings and leads to better understanding about the Key antecedents of Entrepreneurial self-
efficacy that supports and encourage better career. Further, the current study also facilitates a
better understanding about the types of research method along with the effectiveness of
qualitative method in leading a detailed study about the selected topic. The challenges related
with the lack of effective communication and time management is being faced by me while
undertaking current study. Along with this, the undertaking of the qualitative nature of research

based on interview is white complex and time consuming in nature and its was also difficult to
analysis the data as it is in descriptive and theoretical manner. Thus, use of the thematic approach
is made by me to overcome this issues. Along with this, issues related with maintaining the
ethical consideration is also faced thus, proper acre regarding the confidentiality and authenticity
of facts is also made by me.
