Introduction
Entrepreneur are very necessary for growth of a nation’s economy
because they directly or indirectly contribute in terms of growth of
GDP of a country. So it’s important that entrepreneurs need to give
chance to grow themselves at national and international level as well.

Characteristics traits and skills of successful entrepreneurs
Every entrepreneur become successful with support of various
effective skills and characteristics that helps them to become
innovative and professional business entrepreneur.
Peter Jones: Peter Jones is a British entrepreneur and real television
personality who have interest in new technologies and other services.
Peter Jones Traits: Peter Jones have a very clear vision in terms of
his business due to which he can understand market in a very easier
form and can easily communicate purpose of his business to their
customers.

 Socorro Ramos: She is known as Nanay Coring and is the founder
of National Book Store. It is the largest book store chain in
Philippines
 Traits: She is a hard working lady and also have good confidence
level in terms of achieving her targets within a period of time.
 Characteristics: She has passion towards her work and her never
give up attitude makes her successful in becoming a famous
entrepreneur.
 Skills: Socorro Ramos has good learning ability due to which she
constantly works towards her business.

measured through a test which is named as
OCEAN model. This model is basically used for
measuring a person's most important personality
characteristics and also help in identifying exact
job role which matches according to an

 Extraversion: Extraversion is characterised by assertiveness, sociability and high
amounts of emotional expressiveness (Saebi and et.al., 2019). For example,
Richard Branson is a social entrepreneur who have extraversion quality because of
his social and kind nature towards different kinds of people.
 Agreeableness: Agreeableness includes some attributes such as trust, kindness,
affection and pro social behaviours. These kind of people are more cooperative
and also have understanding nature as well. For example: Richard Branson can
easily understand people emotions because he is an author as well.

Experience and background
 Background of Peter Jones: He was born in Berkshire,
England and his passion towards tennis and business makes
him independent. Peter set up his first company at the age of
16 and by the age of 28 he was the youngest head of PC
business at computer firm Siemens Nixdorf.
 Experience: He started his career at a very young age and
also opened a cocktail bar. He started various kinds of
businesses but he actually got success through telecom
business in the year of 1998

family of shopkeepers and she also worked for her brother-
in-law. Socorro was thrown into poverty after losing the

 Background of Mark Zuckerberg: Mark Zuckerberg was born in White
Plains, New York, his father is a dentist and his mother is a psychiatrist. He has
good support in terms of financial manner and also studied from Harvard
University.
 Experience: He launched Facebook social networking service in the year of
2004 with his college roommates. The journey of Facebook started from writing
the code for new site and reason behind creating this networking service comes
from an editorial in the Harvard Crimson on Facebook's forerunner, Face Mash.

REFLECTIVE STATEMENT
I have learnt that how experience and background support in terms of becoming a
successful entrepreneur. I have find difficulty in finding out successful local,
national entrepreneur because it is very difficult to differentiate between
entrepreneur and manager. Basically entrepreneur have a vision towards his or her
business while manager have to manage the team and different kinds of functions
at organisational level.

Conclusion
From the above presentation it has been concluded that there are
different kinds of entrepreneur in this world of business which
includes local, national and global entrepreneurs. Every entrepreneur
has certain kinds of traits, skills and characteristics and on the basis of
that they foster themselves for becoming a successful entrepreneur.
