Personal Statement
My self XYZ and I want to study with Regent College London because they are
providing me various kind of courses and subjects together to learn and get degree for my
professional career. I am well impressed with this facility. Hence, that's why I chose to pursue
my graduation in the field of BA (Hons) Business Entrepreneurship. I have opted this course
only because I have interest in becoming entrepreneur and want to start my own business. This
subject will provide me the new ideas about various kind of start-ups and how to operate a
business by becoming effective leadership skills. I have learned the basic concept of entrepreneur
subject in my schooling time where I enjoy to learn more about entrepreneurship and
entrepreneur skills and attitude. Hence, at that time only I have decided to pursue my graduation
as well as post graduation in the same field. Hence, that's why I opted this subject for my BA
(Hons).
On the other hand, I am also influenced by Richard Branson who is well known
entrepreneur of UK and he is founder of Virgin Group which control more than 400 companies
in different fields and specialization. I have read his interviews and articles on his success and
this person motivated me to become a good entrepreneur in my future to come with new idea to
resolve the problem of society. Secondly, I want to be a leader not manager. Hence, becoming
entrepreneur by gaining knowledge in this field will help me to become a good entrepreneur who
have best qualities of becoming a good leader to influence others and becoming other's idol. I am
a committed student who is always committed toward work and tasks which are assigned and I
always try to complete all task and activities before their due date which further help me to learn
time management which is important skill for an entrepreneur. I also try my best to excel
academically.
I have gained some knowledge like skills required to become effective leaders and
entrepreneurs by watching videos through internet sources on the same topic and I also try to
attend those seminars whose guests are popular entrepreneurs so that I can experience their live
speech in-front of me and observe how they communicate, present them self in-front of crowd
and many other factors which makes me more interested to learn more about this course. By
attending such kind of seminars and wanting their live interviews through online I gain few of
the skills such as communication skill. I get to know that entrepreneurs communicate very
formally and confidently. Secondly, they convey messages in such a way which will help them

to attract their audience well toward their speech. I also get to know that entrepreneurs are not
only focused to achieve organisational goal and more profit but they also focus to fulfil the needs
and wants of their employees and help them to work effectively in good environment. They help
their employees to become other entrepreneurs of the nation. Hence, all these experience and my
knowledge on this subject help me to opt entrepreneurship subject in my graduation.
