Cloud computing is system that enables the delivery of computing services on demand. The
functioning of this system includes storage from applications and processing over the internet
and on pay as you go basis (Böse and Rockenbach, 2018).
The business started is related to online doctor website that provides an opportunity to the
number of individuals in society to get instant health related services. To handle business
operations effectively and run in market with perfection requires the high storage capacity of
patient data. This can be fulfilled through the use of cloud computing services. There are many
type of cloud solutions is present in market like SaaS, PaaS, laaS, private, public, hybrid etc. All
these have different advantages and disadvantages towards an organisation that improves their
working capacity to operate in market with perfection (Hajji and Mezni, 2018).
. In this regard, description of two cloud computing solutions is provided below:
SaaS: Software as a Service
This is the model in which third party provider hosts applications and provide services to
customers over the internet. It is considered as one of the main category of cloud computing.
Application of this solution in current business has huge advantage because this will improve
profit by 100 times for the businesses that falls under the category of IT and Software. The
another advantage associated with the usage of this solution that does not require to hire many
people because the process associated is more automated. One of the main benefit attached with
the application of this solution that provide regular improvement in service. This so because the
software of solution gets update automatically in each month with new features and better
security that works in the positive direction towards improvement of the productivity. In
comparison to the traditional system, this can be used by multiple users at a time. This is also
cost efficient because no need to pay huge cost. The main advantage as compared to the
traditional that this will be accessed from any computer or devise that has internet connection.
There are also some disadvantages (Stergiou and et. al., 2018). These does not have direct
relation with SaaS. It is about slower speeds where applications could run slow. Also, the third
party offering reduces the control.
PaaS: Platform as a Service
This is a model where third party delivers hardware and software tools which are
important for application development. This has many advantages to current business includes

paying for specific applications instead of buying whole software. This will also allow the test
and implementation of new applications that are developed quickly. This will also provide the
opportunity to scan web applications over internet or private network that able to deliver super
safety to business model (Van Eyk and et. al., 2018). The number of disadvantages associated
with this are minimal as compared to advantages. The main disadvantage is related to that the
data security is needed to check by someone on regular basis because it is stored offsite.
