Entrepreneurship is basically a quality which is always existing in an entrepreneur. When
a person sees business opportunity in any market segment, then it will start an enterprise to gain
huge profit in the selected market segment. There are all entrepreneurs not works for earning
only profit, because many of entrepreneur many times works in social welfare as well. There is
self-motivation is very highly required in person to become an entrepreneur. This is report
mainly discusses those factors which always motivate to a person to become a successful
entrepreneur. Currently Jessica Alba is one of the best examples of successful entrepreneurs.
Jessica is basically an American businesswoman and actress. This 39-year-old businesswoman
was also faced many challenges in its initial time period of entrepreneurship. But with support of
self-motivation abilities, she has properly resolved different phases of entrepreneurship.

entrepreneurship as well. Currently Jessica Alba is the founder and chairperson of popular
American company of consumer goods called ‘The Honest Company’. Currently many new
entrepreneurs in all around the world are following Jessica Alba for learning different creative
ways to become a successful entrepreneur. Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company mainly offers
household and baby personal products in the market. Currently this company has very large
customer base within the American consumer goods industry. There are Jessica Alba is really
highly motivated person in her personal life. She always tries to remove such all factors from her
life which can affect her self-motivation aspect negatively. This is the main reason that, she is
very successful entrepreneur in the current date.

Currently there are various factors exists in any person’s personal life which motivate it
for becoming successful entrepreneur (Katekhaye, Meyer and Magda, 2019). These all factors
exist in the personal life Jessica Alba’s personal life as well. There is self-motivation is too
necessary for a person to achieve some decided targets in decided time period. Some major
factors which has motivated to Jessica Alba has been discussed below;
Psychological factor
Psychological is the first factor which can motivate to a person for achieve something in
its life. In this situation, this factors have motivated to Jessica Alba also to become a successful
entrepreneur. This factor is completely based on mind-set and mentality of a person. Jessica Alba
is a business minded woman who has capabilities to see business opportunity in the market. For
example; in 2011 she was realised that, she can start an enterprise also with its acting career, then
she started The Honest Company in the same year. With own extra-ordinary entrepreneurship
techniques and tactics, she was succeeded in boosting her enterprise in the American consumer
goods industry. She was faced many challenges, problems and difficulties when she entered in
the market. Reason is, there was already very high competition in the American consumer goods
industry (Upa, Santoso and Soeindra, 2018). But she always made motivated itself for proper
dealing with such high market competition. In Jessica’s one interview she said that, I am not
afraid from business uncertainties, because uncertainty aspect is very common within any
business or venture. I always lie to prepared myself to systematically deal with business
uncertainties.
Basically, this is the main attribute of Jessica which currently made her a successful
entrepreneur. In her acting career also Jessica put its huge efforts for becoming a famous actress.

Sociological is another factor which always highly motivate to people for fulling their
basic needs. According to the Maslow’s motivation theory, this is the first sociological needs are
basically prime needs of people. For example; food, water, air, belongings, family, dignity etc.
are some prime needs for a person which can highly motivate it. In this situation, sociological
factor also has motivated to Jessica Alba. Currently each person wants some respect the society,
in which society is also a big aspect of sociological factor. By running The Honest Company,
Jessica Alba gained very high respect and goodwill in the market. People are really like her
because of her excellent business mind. When was seen businesses opportunity in the market,
then that opportunity was motivated her for opening a new enterprise called The Honest
Company. When she launched her enterprise in the market, on that time she was no need to
invest high fund for promoting her new enterprise in the market, because people was already
known Jessica for her movies (Minola, Criaco and Obschonka, 2016). She had great image in the
market before opening The Honest Company as well, so when she launched her venture, then
people within society easily known that The Honest Company is founded by Jessica Alba.
Before launching enterprise in America, Jessica’s existing high reputation in the society were
motivated her for opening a new enterprise.
Currently each entrepreneur wants to become a successful entrepreneur, because when an
entrepreneur gains high success, then that success aspect increases its levels of dignity. Currently

believing in providing quality products to customers. That’s why most people within America

launching he consumer goods company in the market, she analysed sociological factor of
American consumer goods industry for understanding actual expectations of people from this

cost for buying quality goods. In this situation, this factor of society had motivated her for
opening that enterprise which can provide the best quality consumer goods in the market. This
type of social factors always give opportunity to a person for becoming a successful entrepreneur
by fulfilling actual needs of people within society (Block and Landgraf, 2016). When a person
realis that something missing in the market which people are highly want to buy, then this factor
motivates it for developing such products and services which people are really want to buy. For
example; American consumer goods industry motivate Jessica Alba for producing quality
products and services, because most people within the America ready to pay any cost for buying
quality products.
Economic factor
Economic factor is another major factor which motivate a person for becoming a
successful entrepreneur. Currently each person in want to earn huge money or profit in the
market. in this situation, this factor influence to a person for opening an enterprise which can
provide can improve its own economic conditions. Economic factor also had motivated Jessica
Alba for becoming an entrepreneur. She was already a successful person before starting her The
Honest Company in 2011, because she was continuously working in her acting career from her
childhood. But while her acting career, she realised that there is great opportunity to her for
starting a new venture in the American consumer goods industry. At the end she was
implemented her decision of starting an in its home country the United States (Fischer, Mauer
and Brettel, 2018). before launching het company, she was completed the full market research
for properly understand actual demand of customers in market. With the support of market
