1REFLECTION ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEARNING
Learning process
My learning process was enhanced through developing deeper understanding of the
various concepts of entrepreneurship. The two in practice exercises that were most important to
learn for me were ‘How to start own business’ and ‘writing business plans’. These were two of
the most important aspects that I was able to learn from the various chapters on entrepreneurship.
Some of the things that worked for me in the learning process way my inquisitive nature and the
exemplary and effective teaching of the instructors. The teaching process was very important as
much was left for the students to discover. I learnt more through the interactions with my peers.
Hence, it can also be said that the peer feedbacks were very important towards determining the
value of learning further. Some of the important aspects that were learnt were related to the
generation of ideas and establishment of goals and objectives. It is important to note that
entrepreneurship is a subject with vast scope. Some things that limited the understanding
however were the different perspectives that were provided by the peers. Moreover, the group
tasks suffered many times due to the lack of coordination between the students. My personal
learning was sometimes limited due to the lack of deeper understandings of some of the elements
that are related to business which require a degree of personal experience. Overall, learning
entrepreneurship was an exercise that helped self-development to a great extent.
Rationale for choice of applied course
The reason for choosing the entrepreneurship course is due to my personal inclinations
towards businesses and being entrepreneur. I wanted to know more about entrepreneurship and
develop the essential skills within myself that can help me to be an effective entrepreneur. The
course helped me to learn many essential concepts that were related to entrepreneurship. In the
very beginning I learnt about what entrepreneurship actually is. The importance, the type and the

implications on entrepreneurship on personal development were understood. Moving forward, I
developed more understanding of the various intrinsic and deeper concepts that were related to
entrepreneurship (Sekliuckiene and Kisielius 2015). Some of the most important learnings that I
developed were in regards to technology oriented leadership, innovative processes, social forms
of entrepreneurships, identification of opportunities, validation of opportunities and the business
model canvas. Dome of the most important in practice exercises that were learnt throughout the
process were the business plans and starting own businesses. The learning process became more
effective as I got the opportunity to study various cases of some of the largest entrepreneurships
and entrepreneurs in the world. I developed better learning inclinations due to being able to
interact freely with the teachers, my peers and other people whom I came across during the
course. The journey had been an important part of the learning process as I could not have learnt
effectively without being engaged in the process. Some of the lows I encountered were during
the process of group projects that took place as a part of the course. I was able to help my peers
and engage in effective engagement process towards learning entrepreneurship.
Reflection on skills and perception of entrepreneurial capabilities
The skills that I learnt about throughout the duration of the course were, formation of
innovative ideas, usage of better technology, the formation of value driver entrepreneurship and
other essential entrepreneurial competencies. The most important skills that I was able to learn
and develop within myself subsequently were alertness, creativity, active searching, essential
prior knowledge and creation of network. These are the skills that are the most important in
developing exceptional levels of entrepreneurship skills. I definitely believe that all these
capabilities are present within myself. In the future this would actually help me in achieving the
most important goals that are required to be an effective entrepreneur. The course have helped

me more importantly to nurture the skills of creativity, active searching, knowledge development
and networking. These I believe have become my core competencies. My goals are to develop a
small business of my own. I want to systematically develop my business to create a strong
foundation for my personal as well as professional growth. The knowledge that I developed in
regards to the setting up of businesses, capital accumulation and capital investment would be
effective in terms of helping me fulfill my future endeavors. It is important to note that I want to
adapt the most effective practices for improving my work functionalities. It is important that I
utilize the acquired knowledge towards improving my skills further. The in practice exercises of
‘How to start own business’ and ‘writing business plans’ did help me complete my endeavor.
Through this I developed a strong attitude towards achieving the best results for the organization
that I would lead. To start my own business I would need to optimally use all the aspects that I
have been able to nurture within myself.
Achievement of goals
I have achieved some of my goals while there are still some of the other goals that need
achieving. The goal that I have been able to achieve is to gain enough information to help in
pursuing my entrepreneurial venture. These are the skills that are the most important in
developing exceptional levels of entrepreneurship skills. I definitely believe that all these
capabilities are present within myself. In the future this would actually help me in achieving the
most important goals that are required to be an effective entrepreneur. I have been able to
achieve the goal of creating a strong network. I have been able to develop strong communication
with some large-scale businessmen and their associates (Read et al. 2016). My educational
endeavors were helpful in guiding me in the path towards being an effective entrepreneur. Some
of the goals that need to be achieved are to gain strong capital for the businesses. The course is
