ButterBake Cookies is homemade cookies by Hazwanie Bahari. It is offering a variety of
types of cookies such as Rolled oat chocolate cookies, Dark Chocolate Cookies, and
Peppermint Cookies that give customers high satisfaction. The customers are from lower
and higher income levels who want to consume a product at an affordable price. Also
targeting the busiest workers because we have the service of delivering the product to
home customers. ButterBake Cookies offers a range of cookies that give good nutrition, low
sugar, low calories and get certified halal.
Bandar Country Homes is the place where most people live either with families, alone or
with friends so we believe that the demand will rise over the year. The marketing strategy
by ButterBake Cookies is to highlight the quality and price of our products and services.
ButterBake Cookies offer an affordable price because the majority of customers are from
lower-income people and unaffordable families in Bandar Country Homes Thus, we develop
a marketing strategy that attracts especially poor people to come to our shop.
This product provide the best services to customers at affordable prices with good quality
ingredients. The customer can only get our cookies from our social media like Instagram
and WhatsApp. We use cost-based pricing strategies which is it means the cost is based by
adding a profit element to the product.

ButterBake Cookies, located at Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, Selangor is a new, upscale
cookie shop focusing on providing organic, healthy, and premium food products. Our product
line fits nicely with health trends nationwide while people still want cookies and baked goods,
they want them to be as healthy as possible. ButterBake Cookies customizes its cookies
basing the orders received besides differentiating itself by the mix-and-match concept,
attractive packaging, and special delivery services.
Butterbake has taken steps to identify and focus on selected groups of customers to ensure
that the marketing effort satisfies customers ' needs and wants as well as profits. This is to
ensure that marketing efforts are made within the scope and capabilities of the business. The
target market is considered a group of customers with needs and wants to satisfy their
business through the supply of goods and services. It is much easier to determine where and
how to market our products with a clearly defined audience.
ButterBake cookies promoted by online marketing can be done by using technology to create
a creative and attractive website. Besides that, this business is promoted through an active
user of social media such as Instagram and Facebook as it can reach a large number of
people in just several seconds. These social media are a great platform for building the
business's brand and connecting with the customers by updating them on special offers, new
products, and more.

After running the ButterBake Cookies business for 1 month starting from 23 April to 24 May
2021 a total of 35 packs of cookies were sold. The cookies that got the highest order are
Rolled-oat chocolate Cookies. The second highest orders are Dark chocolate Cookies and
the last one is Peppermint Cookies. The profit earned is RM 455 ringgit. The total stock is 40
packs, so the rest of the stock is stills 5 packs left. The most of customers are from Bandar
Country Homes residents and some of the customers are from another country like Kedah,
Johor, and Kelantan.
Therefore, the capital that has been invested for the sale of these cookies is as much as RM
235 ringgit, the profit obtained is as much as RM 455 ringgit, so it gets a relatively high return
on capital. The sale of these cookies does not have a high loss because do not make in large
scale quantities and also get on the oven after receiving orders from customers.

Based on the experience of running these ButterBake Cookies business, I learned a lot of
new knowledge and experience. From small business, I got enhances confident
level to talk to customer who buy the product and become more friendly to attract the
customer. I admit it is not easy to find people to buy my product, to let the people know that
we sell the product. From that I used a lot of method to marketing and promoting the product
such as post on social media that includes WhatsApp to our contact and post on Instagram
wisely. We also make affordable price, and we could get the profit if the product sold out.
In an aspect of money management and prices of the product, I learn that this product has
the potential to sold outside of the country but needs high technology and manpower. The
product is affordable for everyone to buys and from that, I can get a profit and expand my
business. Also, I learn to be a good leader and cooperate with the group and become a
responsible person to hold money safely and take care of quality of the product.
Next, entrepreneurship enhances creativity and boosts innovation, being creative and
innovative is something inside that need to be developed. It is only through putting these
abilities to work that you can improve them. It is undeniable that
entrepreneurship requires both skills, so they will get used and improved along my way.
I also learned that this business not only about sells the product, I also need to think about
prioritize user satisfaction, their feedback about the product that mean worth or not their
spent money to what them get. If the feedback is not good from your expectation, also need
to improve the product and learned from the mistake so the users will repeat to buy the
product. From this we learned that business also a good career and can use for the future.
A common problem is the high demand beyond the capacity of the workforce for the
production of cookies. Since the process of making cookies is done at home only and without
high technology, so the space and manpower allowed is not enough to meet the amount of
demand. However, ButterBake Cookies will try to complete orders from customers as soon
as possible and to keep the product quality.

Beside,the problems encountered when running a business is the competition of the same
business with others. The competing products are cheaper and various types of cookies can
be selected as well as the manufacturing process of product is also on a large scale
No major losses are incurred throughout the course of running the cookie business. As is
common for all cookie sellers, there will definitely be problems in ensuring the quality of the
cookies is consistent. While running the ButterBake Cookies business, losses come from
here when not being able to control the level of oven functioning, as well as the quality and
texture of the product languish. The disadvantage is having to throw away substandard
products and resulting in having to spend capital to buy items to make cookies.
I am so grateful because I learned a lot of useful knowledge that I can apply that to my future
but the most important this is learned to listen to your partner in business and value their
ideas and point of view because working with your team in order to get something done is
essential. People naturally excel in different subjects. If you accept that fact and learned to
use it to your advantage (the team advantage), the end product, service, or whatever project
you are working on will turn out really well.
