I agree with the statement that Canada is irresponsible and depends upon the fossil fuels and it
needs to be met with optimism because fossil fuels are abundant in nature and it should be used
in a sustainable manner so that a resources are available for the future generation as well (Cohen,
2014). Secondly, Canada is using oil sand to produce clean and honest oil for the citizen and it
helps to grow country economically. I also agree that the Tar sands emits GHG and biggest water
wastage.
I totally disagree with the statement that adding Carbon dioxide creates positive feedback as it
leads to increase in warming. Because of which the globe is facing a serious problem related to
depletion of ozone layer and increment in ultraviolet harmful radiations which leads to global
warming. I also disagree with the statement that largely depend on the oil creates realization of
planet towards the carbon dioxide but it increases the entering of harmful rays on earth which
creates serious problems such as: Cancer, and others. I disagree with the statement that
environmental alarmist and adversaries do not know what they are talking because they are
presenting us with relevant information on the basis of in-depth research. Furthermore, the
statement “few degree rise in temperature will not affect the country” is highly unacceptable and
disagreeable.
It is being advised that Canada should use their natural resources in a sustainable manner. The
(Middleton, 2013) country should not totally dependent on oil and it should consider the issues
which harms the environment with economic growth. The government should consider these
aspects and make amendments in law accordingly.
