INTRODUCTION
The Environmental criminology is defined as the study of crime, victimization
criminality as they all are concerned with particular places and the way by which an individual or
business organization forms their all activities spacial. This project is conducted on the present
topic weather environmental harms is been caused by industrial or owners as well as the
government agencies as they are not supposed to co-operate due to they have denied as they are
not responsible to environmental harms. This report includes the concept of environmental
criminology and the proposal which explains how project issues and problems are related and
context to social, political and economic. Along with this, report describes different various
environmental harms as well as the crime which are made by an individual or industries. In
addition to this, some measures are also listed to overcome and solve as well as reduces the
issues and crime related to environment in effective and efficient manner (Bruinsma,Bruinsma
and Johnson, 2018).
Environmental harms have been caused by an industrial facility and their owners with
government agencies are unlikely to co-operate with the project denying any responsibility
for these harms.

external variables on the behaviour and attitude of individual people's. Although, the harm to
environmental is described as an biggest crime, which is been cause by industries, human
resources, owners as well as the government agencies. Weather to co-operate with the the current
project they are backing or denied as this is not responsible for the environmental harms. Now a
days, the environmental criminology is a rapidly increasing or growing field with in the sector of
criminology as well as criminal justice. This is the one which focuses on exploring the how
actual criminal events are involved in interactions with between motivated individuals as well as
the economic, social, physical surroundings and legal factor. In context to political factor, the
government should focuses on developing an effective laws and legalisation, to reduce this
crime. Thus, some of the industry does not focuses on saving the environment, as they are
continuously harming the environment by some harmful gases, water pollution, noise pollution,
deforestation, Land Management & Urban Sprawl, Loss of Biodiversity and man y other

harming factors. As these all for the causes by which industry as well as human resources is
harming the environment badly (Pooley and Ferguson,2017). The focus of criminology on
crimes will harms committed which is totally against the humans as well as the society has
broadened over time. However, the Environmental criminology has become a vast recognized
perspective on the bases of crime which focuses on providing an help or support tom different
several resources. Thus, the environmental crime is very biggest law-breaking in the united
kingdom as per the government. Thus, in context to social factor, it should focuses on identifying
the crime as it is very helpful for saving the environment . Along with this the exploring the
crime with the help of sociological as well as psychological perspective will focuses on solving
and understanding criminality, motivations towards the criminal behaviour. In addition to this,
there are different environmental crime that industry as well as an individual does. Such crimes
are global warming, Ecosystems & Endangered Species, Deforestation, Overpopulation, Waste
Disposal, air Pollution, water Pollution, noise Pollution, Water Scarcity and many more. Where
as not a single individual or industry is not accepting their fault as they are the reason for the bad
environment (Reynald, 2015). Furthermore, to forecast the industrial as well as human
consequences of global change or environmental crime, the some important requirements is to be
considered. Such are the future state or forecasting of the natural environment, analysing the
future of social and economic factor business organization, along with this the values held by the
members and the society of different future social groups are also to be considered, at last the
proximate effects of global change according to the values and the responses of individuals
which anticipate in global change are focuses. In addition to current scenario, the human gives an
vast impact on environment in different several ways which will effect the environment
drastically. The some common effects by human on environment is water quality, environmental
pollution, drastic contribution to climate change, greenhouse gas as well as impact on emissions
& depletion of natural resources. The government of United Kingdom should focuses on
developing the effective rule and regulation which help them as well as the society for saving
and reducing the harm of the environment. Along with this the government as well as the society
should concentrate on understanding these crimes in order to formulate & produce greater actual
security (Sebottom and Wortley, 2016). Furthermore, if its talked about the impact of economic
factor on the criminology environment, than it can be said that, its giving an vast as well as
major impact on the business organization. Thus, for generating the revenue many of the

company forget about implementing and applying the no wastage policy in their organization. In
addition to this, each and every business organization is harming the environment form
generating more and more profit for their company. For this, government should focuses on
developing some effective strategy which is very helpful in protecting the environment as well as
reducing the environmental criminology in effective and efficient manner.
Several countries have discovered several aspects in the term and provide the aspects which have
to bed done as per the guidance and give many ratios of explanations which are articulated in the
terms of guiding and providing all such aspects. Their are getting several legislative rules which
have to followed y the public, where they shall provide many circumstantial situations where one
has to guide and provide the basic rules and provision which is given by the government. Some
of the major acts which are need to clear these aspects and make all the industry owners liable to
pay off their debts and keep it clean in environment (Wilcox and Gialopsos, 2015).
Their are some agencies which are core parts of environment health regulations such as:
 Agency for toxic substances and disease registry (ATSDR)
 Centres for disease control and prevention(CDC)
 Department for energy (DOE)
 Department of health and human services(HHS)
These agencies handle the most significant roles in society as the industry is harming
environment on so many levels that it has started to generate several health related problems for
them since its going to be the most difficult task to control them. All agencies mentioned above
handle a particular department and reason or main causes are mentioned below:
OZONE DEPLETION: the main reason behind this issue is disposable ozone layers which are
protecting from harsh UV rays of sun is getting thinner and at some places there are holes found
in layer. This is generated due to excess amount of industry pollution in air and toxic chemical
gasses which are being mixed in environment these raise to the level of ozone layers and have
started to effect it. These agencies required to do basic research and stop such industries, many
are even declared to be criminals as they are being so cruel to environment without even noticing
the fact that at one point of time they have to face effects towards it.
DEFORESTATION: Trees are main and primary source of producing air which humans breath
in and worst scenario to face would be if there are no trees. The amazon forest is largest forest in
world and every year either due to forests fire or some other things its getting destroys. These

agencies work on protecting these places and make people aware about general necessities one
needs to know for betterment of work in society. General awareness and protecting such places is
their job. Also in case of some industry or industrialist is causing harm without even notifying or
taking permission can be sues under acts and a civil court proceeding can be help up against
them.
DISPOSAL OF WASTES: it is very important for general individual to know and learn how to
dispose off waste and avoid any wrong dispossession. Waste and materials have to be packed
and disposed off as per their material and mainly things in plastic should be avoided in case
people can provide several advantages which is helping reducing plastic wastage, reducing sea
waste, reducing waste which will take several years to get decomposed itself.
Its is generally mentioned that there are properly a common law which is initiated the nuisance
and comprehensive laws which shall be used to protect land regulation and technological impact
issues (Wortley and Townsley, 2016).
Industrialization is very essential for development of country and nations but at same
time it effects workings and usage of environment and gave several scopes and relevant
guidelines in the core meaning of it. these can cause drastic changes in environmental change,
cause air pollution, water and soil erosion, several species getting extinct etc.
The root cause of all such things is basically corruption and power presidency in country.
One has to accept as a fact that, society is directly corrupted by bribery and several other
beneficiary things into which environment is directly connected to environment being unhealthy.
the international humanitarian law or the law of armed conflict is a legal body which comprises
of several laws where one has to do many constructive work for things to progress in correct
direction. this legal body IHL which is driven from practice accepted by laws and existing treaty
laws as well.
This constitutes several laws and specifically the article 35(3) and 55(1) which come under
additional protocol, where several methods of warfare and other means are described. The direct
protection in this area is given through ENMOD (environmental modification
techniques)convention 1977. within this many indirect laws are created for environment found
provisions and protection of civilisation.
The industrial revolution caused started in early 1700s, when the worlds population started to
recovered again. The imbalance in power generation was done through balance of power through

using coal as power source of energy, this caused a huge issue where air and water pollution. Air
pollution was caused through smoke generated because of coal burning several elements
produced in such industries are very harmful for environment such as asbestos & dioxin to lead
and chromium. Even having many provisions there are many industries which do not stop air
pollution.
Water pollution is one of the major problem in the world, there is limited amount of water which
is drinkable in nature. Their are many things which have to be attempted and industries dumping
their waste in sea is causing such problems. People in rural or urban areas aren't aware of not
dumping things in rivers & lakes. This is main cause of limitation in drinking water plus causing
several generation of new diseases.
In last terms it can be qualifies that industrialization has given several habitat destructions, forest
are cut down for producing products sometime unnecessary in limit. Destroying these natural
habitats is killing animals day by day and making several evolutionary things where they can
never incorporate any such plants or forests. The industries are not looking forwards to them and
in the end its going to cause several issues as a matter of fact.
Conclusion
From the above conducted report, it has been concluded that the environmental
criminology is rapidly increasing day by day. Now a days, this has become a vast biggest
problem and crime in united kingdom. Along with this it is analysed that, no body either an
individual or industry as well as an government agency is accepting that they are responsible for
all environmental problem. However, the report is based on the environmental criminology, in
which all crimes of environment is has been describe along with their overcoming. In addition to
this present scenario, this topic is also illustrated in context to political, social, economical in
effective and efficient manner.
