Article Summary
This discussion is based on reviewing an article written by (Nuvolone, Petri, &
Voller, 2018), so that key points can be highlighted in the context of environmental science.
The article is all about assessing the impacts of ozone on human health. The authors have
raised an important issue of environmental science by choosing research in the area of human
health affected by ozone gas.
I feel that human health issues such as cancer, breathing diseases, asthma, and many
more. It has been found throughout the research, ozone has so many bad impacts on human
health and it is caused due to Ozone layer depletion. Such depletion causes increased UV
radiation levels all across the Earth's surface. In this way, ozone is damaging to human health
(Nuvolone, Petri, & Voller, 2018).
I also believe that there may be some key financial implications due to ozone layer
depletion as it is directly affecting human health and well-being.
In whole, after reading this article written by (Nuvolone, Petri, & Voller, 2018), my
opinion regarding environmental pollution and science has evolved. Now, I understood that
there are so many negative effects of ozone include diverse types of skin cancers, immune
deficiency, and eye cataracts disorders. Apart from human health, ozone allows UV rays
which ultimately affect plant growth, while reducing overall agricultural productivity
worldwide.
